Cadbury Lunch Bar Rewards Bree Taxi Rank with Much Much More!



Earlier this year, the brand introduced its new logo and packaging to the nation. To support this exciting change in design, Lunch Bar ran a wrapper collection campaign with the Alex, Randburg, Bara and Bree Taxi ranks.

This activation encouraged commuters from each of these taxi ranks to take part in a loyalty program by collecting Lunch Bar wrappers in order to stand the chance to win instant prizes and the ultimate grand prize of a business starter kit worth over R200 000. This prize was awarded to Gladys Maluleke, who received a bakkie, smartphone, laptop, printer, airtime, shopping vouchers and much much more.



In a competition between the ranks, Bree Taxi rank collected the most wrappers during the campaign period and was awarded a rank refurbishment worth R100 000 which included shop signage, a newly renovated canteen area as well as various other supplies to assist the surrounding shop owners.


During the campaign, Cadbury Lunch Bar also partnered with various talented young entrepreneurs. One such entrepreneur, Thamba Tabvuma from Republic of Recycle, was tasked with upcycling the wrappers collected throughout the campaign to create a range of Lunch Bar branded parasol umbrellas which have also been donated to Bree Taxi Rank.
