I actually prefer a hole over a WHOLE screen phone…all screen phones lack character on the front… which is the part I’m always gonna look at…
all of them are crap…… Xperia 1 is the best… no notch no punch hole but an amazing 21:9 Cinematic OLED 4K HDR screen… because Sony is always underrated and no one is talking about it of those SO BIASED REVIEWERS… they just keeps bragging about samsung and making it a big hype, and many sheeps follow them!

for me, I would still prefer no interference on my phone. The Mix did it well and energizer was able to minimize the chin on their new phones, even the foldable phone was done right.

I dont know notches very well. Never owned a phone with one nor will I ever. I was lucky enough to get an S9+ and avoid the notch. I would stay with this phone until they get it right or I’ll find an option with either no front camera or what you would consider an optional camera like on the Vivo phones. I’m dubious about motorized units but I honestly dont take selfies so it works.
