FIELDS OF GREEN FOR ALL:
DAGGA COUPLE HOSTS
D.DAY4.20 AT
GOLDEN HARVEST PARK
THIS YEAR
The official countdown has begun. It’s almost time for one of the most anticipated events of the year to take place- yes it’s almost
time to celebrate 420 along with the rest of the Cannabis Culture–
the perfect opportunity to meet and gather with like-minded stoners to get lit AF!
D.Day got it’s title as initially the organizers weren’t allowed to put the word ‘DAGGA’ on the original flyer for Dagga Day.
#D.Day4.20 started off as a free street party at Carfax in the Maboneng Precinct, Johannesburg in 2013.
1500 supporters and patrons surprised the hosts, Jules Stobbs and Myrtle Clarke– better known as the Dagga Couple
(as dubbed by the press) by joining them for the debut of what was to become one of Jozi’s most well kept secrets-
the first D.Day4.20 Cannabis culture celebration.

THE DAGGA COUPLE: JULES STOBBS AND MYRTLE CLARKE
Six years later D.Day4.20 has become SA’s dankest festival- and with good reason.
The annual gathering of your favourite folk and great Jozi bands has flourished in even the harshest of conditions.
The past 5 years Carfax in Jozi has seen masses and masses of people from all shapes, sizes and ethnicity come together
every 3rd Saturday of April in celebration of cannabis.
With entertainment for everyone right throughout the day and Rastafarian items to buy, a variety of clothing, the widest range of
bongs, different strains, rizzla’s of all kind,
merchandise, hand crafted items and art, a cash bar to quench your thirst right through to educational partakers
and stalls where you can buy all the equipment you’ll need to start your very own plantation and
oh,let’s not forget food stalls to help cease your munchies.
Each D.Day has offered a truly unique experience.
Whether you’re letting down your dreadlocks or dropping the white collar for a day-
come and experience SA’s vibrant cannabis culture.
Let’s continue to bring the weed plant out from the shadows of 100 years of prohibition.
This is your official invitation- pull on in and get lit AF with your fellow like minded stoners.
#DKEXP has been lucky enough to attend 2 out of 5 of these events and this coming weekend, on
Saturday 21 April 2018 at 10:00am
we’ll be well on our way to support and partake in these festivities proper 420 style!
This year for the first time ever, the event is moving from the streets to the Golden Harvest Park, close to Northgate.
Lots of grass, lots of shade and a super cool view of Jozi- what more could a stoner ask for?
We’re starting at 10am for a day festival in one of Jo’burg’s best kept secrets and we’re giving away a super cool goodie bags to
the first 200 of you through the gate.
There will even be a morning Stona Yoga session.
