Wow I apologize for the delay in publishing this review but #DKEXP, have been mad busy with new work since the Delicious Festival. It feels like yesterday since Jamiroquai performed Live in South Africa. Saturday saw an amazing 15ooo people. Honestly they were 2 of the best performances I have ever had the pleasure of attending and witnessing this year and I say 2 because I had the pleasure of being there on both Saturday and Sunday, You probably thinking Lucky You but let me tell you I was in fact working with the Festival and had been there on Thursday with the Awesome UK Chef’s Aldo Zilli, Ed Baines and John Burton–Race for site inspection and then went through to Ballz Radio with Aldo Zilli for his interview with Sasha Martinengo and again on Friday during the sound check.
Now Some of you may or may not know that #DKEXP, was highly involved with the Delicious Festival Team in the prior months leading to the event day and still going strong today. #DKEXP, was put in charge of the Delicious Festival Social Media Accounts in August 2013 and this was #DKEXP‘s first Social Media Management Campaign since our inception in January and what better way to start than for our Clients at Delicious Festival. When the account was handed to me the Delicious Festival only had 250 followers on Twitter and it was my duty to increase the followers and create a Hype leading up to the event and I did just that with awesome content, competitions, prize giveaways as well as ticket upgrades and giveaways and we also provided Photography on both event days.
Sunday the 6th October 2013 was the last of the 2 day Music and Food Festival. With perfect clear blue sky’s and sunny weather it was amazing to see so many people enjoying themselves at the Delicious Festival. There was an abundance of choice when it came to selecting different types of foods from the different Artisan market stalls, or you could have enjoyed a 4 course meal prepared in one of the 3 International Restaurants hosted by International Chef’s Aldo Zilli, John Burton-Race and Ed Baines. Delicious Festival was a perfect way to spend your Saturday or Sunday with your family, friends and loved ones.
The kids could enjoy the action packed KIDS ZONE where they could Play, Sing, Skate, Colour in and more, whilst mom and dad enjoyed the Music of Brilliant Local and International Artists sitting under their umbrella, or on their blankets in true picnic style. This was an Amazing event and Excellent Value for Money in terms of how many performances you were able to see in just one day as well as it was something new and different to our country. I wonder who will be the Headline Act next year and which Local Artists will be the support acts?
We can not wait for the 2014 Delicious Festival to get underway, as I’m sure so are the rest of you, So until then Keep watching this SPACE, or make sure you are following Delicious Festival on both Twitter and Facebook.
