OORAH SEMPER FI!
The greatest generation.
was it really pure though lol
This is when a flag is an inspiration to all concerned, and we were definitely concerned, and dedicated to the cause. Our children should know our rich history, and how it came to be. That freedom is Not just a word in the dictionary, but action taken by brave soldiers for a civilization they held dearly. Sacrifices were made for the benefit of many, a price which cannot be fully paid. I think often about the men I served with, and especially those friends who died on foreign soil. Letโs be appreciative of our inheritance, and be joyful this coming 250 anniversary as a nation. It is a good thing to give thanks unto our God for His direction & safe keepingโฆ.๐บ๐ธ
That was a staged photo days after the fighting had finished. Lying old fart
Could you imagine the pride they felt? After that fight, to see our flag go up? Id be ready for anything after that
God bless this man and all like him. The greatest generation indeed! ๐๐บ๐ธ๐ฆ
โค ๐ โค
And theyve been trying to put their flag on everyones land ever since.
That is my screen saver on my phone AMERICA
And look where we are today. You all sacrificed and died for nothing. It’s fucking sad.
This is why we respect and don’t allow the American Flag to be burned because our Men fought and died in remote islands and foreign countries to defend our FREEDOM GOD BLESS AMERICA ๐บ๐ธ ๐
The greatest generation ever born! With only a few of them left. God Bless these men!
I would also add that, as far as i know, that was the first time ANY soverign nation put a flag on japanese soil! If i am correct not even the Mongols managed that, the taifuns sunk their ships before landing. This adds a brutal layer for japanese, who tought Japan as the land of gods…
Letting off rounds after the flag went up ๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป

Amazing! God bless you young man!
All those men died just so the western world could be destroyed to benefit Jews.
So awesome to have legends like this tell their story! We need these stories to live on.
Thank you for your service Sir. God bless you.
Todayโs world itโs an Israeli flag ๐๐
arrowhead needs to see this so they realize how important the flag is to all the helldivers.
When men were MEN!
What a wonderful man
Thank you sir for your service.
He was fucking there!!!!
Those dudes were hard as nails.
Young man not even 18 years old,a true warrior, one of the best and first Is Warriors
Beautiful asf
A warrior
Fuck yeah !!!long live the ๐บ๐ธ USA!!!!!!!
slight historical correction, commodore Mathew Perry was the first to raise an American flag on japanese soil specifically in yokohama 1853. this specific flag was also flown at the japanese surrender in 1945 on the uss missouri
Thank you for your service and the sacrifices of your brothers in arms ๐
I love his stories
That’s awesome..this guy’s voice and background music pumps me up lol
A real American Hero. God bless our Troops and President Trump โคโค
๐ซก๐บ๐ฒ๐ช
I’m 36 and none of my family have served, none that I have been told, but damn if I don’t appreciate every single soldier who has served and is serving.
Thanks for your Service Buddy
Wonderful remembrance, brilliantly told. Thank you, sir.
I mean, cool I guess but why does it matter what the pole was?
My Great Uncle Saw both Flags go up, The Original and the Second One for the Photos. He Had been through Bouganville, Guam, and then lost an eye at Iwo Jima! Proud of Him!!
Imagine … these boys faced war … fought for our freedom… now boys older than these go to job interviews with mommy and daddy … liberalism is a mental psychosis
Fearless men fighting for an evil cause, but noble nonetheless for they were all tricked
Wow the true American hero probably one of the last people alive that can say they saw that flag of especially from that close
Sorry the way I understand it that that was a a staged moment for Press. Iโm not anti-American or anything like that but what I understand historically that that wasnโt some sort of random event that was all staged those guys were posing. It was for military photography.
The Russians did the same in Berlin.
He served with my grandpa. Amazing men.
The flag was put up twice, they raised it a second time for the picture ๐ฎ ๐ช๐บ๐ฒ
Its time males become men again….
I did not know, our flag was on Japanese soil.
God bless you for your service.
