21 years in the military enlisted. Retired an E-8. People like Samuel are EXACTLY what we need in our future military leaders. He has already demonstrated more backbone and physical courage than many of the officers I served under. This country and our way of life will ALWAYS be worth defending. Most of its citizens and especially politicians are not.
Americas best and brightest we are in safe hands with these Soldiers and Officers leading our Army.

Yesterday a full contingent from the ODU Army ROTC cadre was once again volunteering as they have for years to support the US maritime industry’s Propeller Club including the unit’s new CO and the unit’s long standing office secretary. Gave me hope for America.
