I think you lost the cops trust when you told them that he forced you to drink with a knife and then finding out later that you lied in a statement. One of the problems with this is the defense attorney is going to tear your statements to pieces and possibly get it dismissed.
This is something everybody has to understand before they go off on different tangents.

I call bullshit, born and raised in Cali and got in way more troubling situations then her, and never heard of a zero tolerance policy and I was heavily into drugs in high school.
Same thing happened to my daughter at Clovis High in central California. She wasn’t with a friend. A group of 4 men violated her, and Clovis Police Department said the crime of skipping school meant she got shipped to continuation school. They set her on a path to depression and self harm. She’s 36 now, and I can’t rescue her anymore today than I could 20 years ago.
