Most guys that run .300blk reload the round and its relatively cheap.
School kids love watching this tool and his mates . They learn so much about the best weapon to use for certain scenarios etc . But hey , keep on glorifying this shit . …… My edc is an HK45c with the lite LEM trigger…. i absolutely love that gun…. The P30 with the LEM trigger is awesome too, and same size as a G19 …. The P30sk lite lem V1 is also awesome and Should be compared to the VP9sks…. actually , just about everything HK makes is freaking awesome and i would trust my life with…👍

another story that proves, that the use case of a special forces soldier and a civilian are completely different. i own a SIG P226 and a HK .45 (as well as a USP .45). though in my country carrying a firearm for self defense is a very rare occurence reserved for cash truck drivers, and “especially threatened” individuals like politicians and witnesses in lawsuits regarding organized crime, i have some idea how to EDC a firearm from some time abroad.
none of the three pistols i’d like to carry all day concealed on me, and i’m 184cm at 110kg, so not exactly the smallest frame a human can be in.
i know there’s guys out there who go “you have the wrong holster” or “muh i EDC a desert eagle” but my point still stands.
I don’t know why he’s shocked at the P226. The SAS picked the original version to replace the Browning. It’s an accurate and reliable weapon.
.308 hardly comes as a shock. For precision long range work and penetration of armour or light cover at 1000 yards, there are few rounds that provide the range and punch of a .308, without needing to lug around a .50cal.
Mobility is important in special ops, reconnaissance and target acquisition/exfil. You can have a decent .308 with an easily portable platform. Anything heavier is only really appropriate for a designated marksman or sniper with a unit acting as security.

Maybe it’s because I load my own 300 blackout, but I don’t really worry about the cost of that ammo. Hell, some of the 308 ammo I have was $2, maybe $3, a round (I haven’t started reloading 308, yet)
