You need to have someone that talks about the complete Bible , the Ethiopian Bible , that has all of the texts in it the 88 books that were removed by men. To lie to everyone. I will never read the King James Version ever again, it’s all a lie.
The Masoretic text came later. And the oldest manuscripts from the Dead Sea scrolls often disagree with the Masoretic text. I’ll stick with the Septuagint, thank you. Why would you trust the Masoretic text when the Jews had every reason to remove books that could support Christianity and Protestants had every reason to remove those same books as they supported ancient Christian traditions?
You’re supposed to let the holy Spirit/Ghost speak to you on what is truth, did Jesus say he would leave us with a Bible to guide us or a comforter?
“Established core” according to the corrupt Jews, and men called “church Fathers” who followed the lead of the corrupt Jews regarding the Hebrew “Cannon” and regarding the NT, I don’t believe we really will ever know the fullness of the letters that the apostles circulated in the first century. Look at the Ebionites. They were one of the first followers of Yeshua. We only know about them because of the gentile rejection of them – hostile witnesses. Tell me how did their writings disappear from history? They were burned by those in the “church” who were after political advantage with the Roman authority. Jew were the chosen people but were cut off from the final revelation because they didn’t accept the Son (Yeshua) so God switched over to Abraham’s other son’s lineage and gave them the final revelation which is the Quran. Everyone is right but the history just needs to be told in order.

Wow… conveniently leaves out the synod of hippo. I mean even at Nicaea we know they used 73. Or the part where Jerome states he is wrong and the Church was right about 73 not 66. Or how Luther wanted to remove some New Testament writings like James.
The Latin Vulgate is NOT a faithful translation of the Bible and CATHOLICISM IS NOT “THE CHURCH”. Catholicism persecuted and killed those of the churches of God.

This is the problem. If you were an omniscient being capable of creating universes and everything in them, then create a membership that trust is a requirement to enter, and you leave instructions with men who immediately begin to ” interpret” the data that is told and hidden or written. Then knowing because u are God that 30 ppl cannot pass a 2 word phrase around in a circle accurately verbally, leave the whole thing as a “set and forget” aka Ronco model with eternal torture as a consequence for not following the original rules told to like 4 ppl over 4500 years ago then revised again about 2500 years later, but still only told to a couple ppl. No person court or priest would accept information on those terms in any other situation. I think the idea that God can create a universe and cares about the mundane details of life of humans but had no idea that would be an issue is highly suspect. What is the real original instructions? If eating meat was a hellfire sin when it was made, how do men get to decide later God was wrong? It was changed because it affected membership.there was no miracle to change the rules. Now the church accepts Homosexual stuff? Why would the all knowing tell one guy and not everyone all at once, then punish ppl because the messaging system is outdated? How is this not something the creator of all things would be concerned about and not address? He cared about you killing a goat but not clarity of the foundational requirement of faith. Now we hear they argue over what to include as if they weren’t given clear enough instructions.
Genuine question worth sitting with: if the early Church used 73 books — and the councils that defined your New Testament (Hippo, Carthage, 393–397 AD) also affirmed those 73 — what’s the historical basis for trusting their NT decisions but rejecting their OT ones? The apostles themselves quoted the Greek Septuagint, which included the deuterocanonicals. Jerome had private doubts, but Augustine corrected him and the councils sided with Augustine. The 66-book canon isn’t ancient. It’s Reformation-era. That’s worth honestly investigating.

Jerome couldn’t read Hebrew, he had the Torah spoken to him. That’s why he left the Tetragrammaton out of the Latin Vulgate. Interestingly, in some of the oldest fragments of the Septuagint, there are examples of the Tetragrammaton being written in paleo Hebrew among the Greek text.
Luther also said that Jude and revelation should be left out. This dude doesn’t know what he’s talking about

To be precise: Martin Luther did not remove these seven books outright. In his 1534 German Bible, he separated them into a standalone appendix labeled Apocrypha, with a note saying they were “not held equal to the Sacred Scriptures” but “useful and good to read.” Later Protestant traditions removed them from their Bibles entirely. Either way, the seven deuterocanonical books were never additions. They were present in the Septuagint, the Greek translation of the Hebrew scriptures used by Jesus, the Apostles, and the early Church. The New Testament quotes the Septuagint approximately 300 times. The Catholic Church formally defined the canon at the Councils of Hippo (393 AD) and Carthage (397 AD), over 1,100 years before Luther set them aside, partly because they supported doctrines he disagreed with, including prayers for the dead (2 Maccabees 12:46).
This has all arrived full circle and were right back at pontius pilate asking Jesus “What is Truth”
