Information theory states that information always becomes less complex, or degrades, over time without any intervention, rather than become more complex.
The gaps are not that big, ofcourse such a long record in a volatile highly dynamic environment has some gaps. Selective breeding aka animal husbandry is a textbook example of pressure guiding evolution. One must be willfully ignorant not acknowledging this scientific fact.
I’ve believed in evolution my entire life. I’ve studied science my entire life. I know a great deal more than the average person although my major was no evolutionary development. The one that really got me to see the cracks in the theory was when they said whales evolved from a wolf. There is literally no reason or mechanism that can explain why some wolves would become a whale, grow to be 100’ long ocean creatures, and some would stay wolves. I don’t care if I have 100 million years, my children aren’t going to become a platypus. It just doesn’t work that way. And this gentleman is absolutely right. He’s saying there’s no fossil record of life evolving from single cell organisms. There isn’t a single fossil of anything that proves that. We see micro evolution all over. But macro evolution I no longer believe with certainty. Not saying it’s false, but there’s no reason to be confident it’s accurate.
Genes evolve, we can trace them compared against the fossil record. It all correlates
(In short form) The key point to human evolution was more protein had been introduced dietarily and by proxy that caused bigger brains and the ability to overcome more complex problems. That in its self can be proven wrong when comparing to a multitude of different types animals simulator and not. By that theory,there should be a far superior and vastly more intelligent species than humans if you use the analogy of timelines and the everywhere on earth. Also why is a theory from 1830 being sold as factually based when the TRUE scientific method/evidence is truth without proof is one theoretical. Religion is different than science,It’s based upon faith.
We have a big as gap in many species of fossil records because not all living things gets fossilized due to random chance and with shifting continental plates, things get buried very deep in the ground and scattered from where an animal was orginally fossilized. We have still found many fossil records but not everything is gonna be perfect. Critical thinking is important vs just taking the word from someone on a podcast with a possible strong political agenda.
I’m just amazed at all the idiots in chat I thinking they’ve been told the truth about anything the powers that be say.

Evolution has no goal. Calcium plates are hard to make and require perfect conditions. There’s a gap cause no fossils survived.
Here’s one for all you idiots find evidence of a scientist in the 1990’s which should be enough technology, find one scientist that said,
“Oh no, the hole in the ozone layer will totally repair itself.”
Name one scientist that knew the atmosphere, had all the tech at their fingertips, and showed a formula proving why the ozone layer could and would repair itself.
That’s one out of a million examples and they can’t even prove modern day theories worth shit.

Animals survived calamities because they had already evolved.
