I tried joining the marine corps when I was 18 and was denied, hard… Due to being a type 1 diabetic. I was pissed. I told him it was discrimination and really got into it with the recruiter. He sat me down and explained to me depending on where I placed on testing, I maybe in charge of myself, I maybe in charge of a whole battalion & if that was the case and my sugars bottomed out, not only is my ass on the line, but now the whole team is in trouble because Im face down in the dirt. I get it now, but it still bothered me. After that I went across the hallway to the army, then the air force, then the navy. They all told me the same thing. I even went to the Coast Guard in got denied.
My question is if there was a draft and we were that hard up for people would they take me now if they needed someone that bad I’m a lot older now, but I have experience in law enforcement. I would pack my shit up and hit the road if they let me

A draft will happen in 2028. They won’t have enough men to draft so they will draft females too. 17 and up to 50. It’s not a joke. It’s coming. I have a 19 year old and my youngest turns 17 tomorrow. In 1991 when we invaded Kuwait we had 330,000 more, so 780,000 in Just the Army. .if you take tge army and the USMC in 1991, they combined were just under a million active duty. Today all 4 branches are 1.3 total.
