People are mad at data centers for sucking up water and electricity but manufacturing plants did the same thing in the industrial age.
Either you look to the hill and believe there is a cliff at the end or you look and believe there is a new city. Just remember, you’re on a road someone built to get there. It’s not a cliff. Just relax. Be cautious. The world is not going to explode because of AI but people can blow it up because of the fear of AI.
