A father’s actions will last for years down the road….my father would always make sure to add “please” to a request and as young teen I was annoyed caus ei didn’t have any other choice but now almost 30 I say the exact same.
My 4 year old son (now 22) asked me, “why doesn’t daddy’s truck have a horn?” After 33 years of marriage, I think I’ve seen him lay on the horn once-late for a hockey game on the LIE.
Keeps us in check, absolutely. “Floop” is my new favorite exclamation.
Every time I’ve done something like that, it’s someone I know/someone who knows me (from church, from a past church, from the church where I work currently). Keeps me humble. Thanks, God.
While at a 4 way stop in the middle of no where, late at night, my son asked my why I had to stop when no one was there? Because it is the law and my responsibility to keep you safe!
My 5 year old repeated me saying crap the other day and THAT made me feel like a failure. And I’m not an angel when it comes to my language with adults, but to hear her say it hurt
The government is using your training to lure about you. I just got hurt again electromagnetically. It’s sorta like how they are using the AI version of our data to run it in inappropriate platforms I do not want on me.
My 4 year old went into preschool the next day after breaking her arm and told her teacher the xray was a real pain in the ass 🤦🏻♀️
Fuck its called life people. We are parents but also individuals and human. Praise God. Put your family first. Be a MF MAN of the house. Work hard. Support. Etc. All the little incidents in between dont matter.
I was watching a hockey game and was yelling at the ref and said you effing then I heard a little voice beside me repeat it.😂😮 gotta be careful. He was less than a year old

As Dad’s and role models, we have to admit we are going to make those mistakes, make those fuck ups.
As role models we also need to acknowledge it, like they are doing right here and catch ourselves. It’s going to happen but can you learn to catch it before you let it actually come out? Sometimes yeah, a man makes mistakes and takes steps to try and not make them again.
I HATE angry men who road rage bully me 😢 especially when the sign says merge or get over now. They DON’T and bully me to squeeze in. Then flip me off 😮 DO BETTER

I remembered when my nephew was around 4 or 5 i was playing with him and instead of saying oh shit! To something i said potatoes! And the next week i hear him saying oh potatoes! I laughed a lot and i was surprised, good luck i didn’t used a bad word hahaha
Dude the other day all the drinks from Sonic fell thru the drink carrier in my apartment parking lot. I slammed the carrier, kicked the cups and shouted f bombs with my 4 year old there. There was also another family in the parking lot. Pretty embarrassing stuff right there. I should have acted better for my kid.
