Cannot believe the Oliver Tree tragedy. Not Gona lie the guy annoyed me but he was always gold with Bobby. To hear he died five years younger than me I got sober 6 years ago today. Hits different. RIP Oliver Tree really saddened about this one dude was young and unique didn’t even know he did music like that. Rip man gone too soon.

24:53 Obsession is NOT a Cinderella story or an anomaly and it angers me so much that they’d even say this to the point that me makes me sick to my stomach. Don’t play up something that used to happen literally every other Thursday in the 90’s like it’s some forgotten relic of the past that we can’t go back to because we’ve forgotten how. Hollywood is trash now because of the gatekeepers. The only reason Obsession happened was because they sidestepped the taste maker gatekeepers and their trash ‘modern audience’ filters that ruin every project from the beginning. New people, fresh ideas, avoiding the system that ruined cinema. That is the way forward. We can go back to the golden era but only if we remove and abandon the system that’s currently in place.

obsession is by far the best thriller/suspense movie i’ve ever seen. the premise is phenomenal. the writing missed in some parts, but that doesn’t even matter the fucked up cadence of the main actress is so damn creepy it makes you forget about everything else that’s wrong with the film.
