IMO Three Mile Island accident was manufactured to put an end to nuclear energy development in US.
Perhaps some thought this was good, at the time, for US. However it ended up slowing down US economic development. There is a direct relationship between energy cost and advance and economic development. Energy is the real currency of the world.

Well recently a Russian armor battalion dug in at around Chernobyl first few weeks of the war within a week they were completely covered in rashes and the entire group was moved to Belarus never seen again!!! No media coverage except for Ukraine military news coverage the early part of the war!
Except the radioactive material. I remember when Jeremy Wade went there with a suit and radioactive meter. The fish he caught were big but 😂
Discovery did a documentary on the exclusion zone a while back the radiation levels next to the reactor are bad but in the city and surrounding area the animals and plants live just fine. There are mutations but the life cycle of the animals is shorter marginally because of the radiation. It’s actually an untouched wilderness now because humanity can’t go there for another 10k years

Chernobyl has some of the best fishing in the world. The cooling ponds at ground zero are thriving with fish because nobody fishes there.
Yeah but just like fuckashima, the wild life has radio active particles in them, you don’t want to hunt or visit there. Putins troops found that out in2022, in 2 weeks troops were having problems because they dug into the soil. Chernoble is forever not a place for humans.
The earth is extremely resilient. Planet worshipers want you to believe humans are evil and bringing the earth to its knees and life will end unless we all stop using cars and farming and growing livestock and become like THEM, worshipers of the creation rather than the creator.
