Ive been playing games since i was a kid, im 40. Never killed anyone nor came close. However i dont do social media, that is definitely the culprit. Youtube is as far as i go.
Video games don’t cause that shit… I’ve been playing games sense i was 4… majority of which have been shooters or has shooting in it or killing characters… on top of the fact that people have treated me like shit my whole life my parents split up when i was 2… multuple best friends have disappeared or back stabbed me…
If anyone should have been pushed to do mass shootings or become part of any of this bullshit… it’s me… and I’m not gay or crazy center right dude…

We absolutely do glorify violence and the vast majority of our entertainment is crime and violence, along with sex. We like to say violence isn’t the answer but that’s exactly the answer in both fiction and reality.
However, IDK if I’m desensitized. I just watched a video today of what happened in Idaho and even though all that was shown was someone shooting a windshield, it was disturbing because it was real and I just watched someone get murdered for no reason, it was sickening. That is nothing like playing a game or watched someone be killed in a movie. It’s not even close.
I could blame it on parents that don’t spank their kids and think timeout is a good enough punishment.
These might all be contributing factors but not the reason.
I also find this really ironic coming from 2 guys who killed people for a living based on the orders of others who likely never taken a life themselves…

Just gotta point out, before I played video games I was playing cops and robbers and Indians vs cowboys. We were outside for 8+ hours pretending to shoot each other with sticks. This goes beyond video games, parents are using an iPad as a nanny and it shows.
It’s not video games fault. Also those games have age restrictions, it’s the parents responsibility to not let GTA raise their kids.

I cant stand people who blame tv and video games for the violence in kids!!! Guess what SEAN, we use to play pain ball, violent video games, and some violent ass movies when i was a kid and NO ONE i hung out with or even knew, never committed a violent crime!!!
