I’ve recently tried to regain my faith again hoping I’m making step in the correct way for me and my family but this is something I have often have issues with bc I am a very very proud and prideful person, now with that being said I am still sensible and reasonable to a point. But I’ve often battled with a dark past and trying to learn how to forgive and or forget what happened and hearing this explained this way was something I truly needed to hear. And if I’m saying this wrong someone please correct me but my take on this is Jesus died for our sins, so no matter what even when someone does evil to harm me or my family I have to forgive them but I don’t always have to reconcile and this is done by also choosing if their one of the three people

I Do have the right to not forgive a person who sins against me for hating me and trying to kill me. Forgiveness is for me and others who don’t get too severe in betraying me too far up to that certain point.

This is false, nowhere does it say you must forgive anyone who wrongs you no matter what. You must release anger, but that’s not the same thing as forgiveness. The purpose of forgiveness is reconciliation. God doesn’t even forgive those who dont repent, hellooooo

Jesus was merciful to humans but demons were always banished from his presence and from the person who they had possessed. He never forgave the demons.
Today and going back in history there’s people shaking and faking in church life and family. Some also pledge allegiance knowingly or unknowingly by saying that it is BETTER TO RULE IN HELL than blah blah blah. They are admitting a choice of the lifelong and eternal wish and desire to deny God Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. They want to SERVE IN HELL. THIS IS ONE GROUP THAT in the USA where I live that is destroying the country and if left to their methods devices and behavior will likely destroy the world too. I’m not sure if you can exorcise the choice of SERVING IN HELL or not.

The Most Intense Bible study is the one you do yourself. Start with Genesis. Read once. Read again while taking notes in a separate notebook. Read notes from beginning.
Do that for all 60 books. Will take you two years. Every 6-7 books read from where they started when you read notes. Don’t try to read notes from beginning (Genesis)each time. Just keep a frame of 6-7 books and use as rolling frame.
I went to a new friends house in high school and they had a Bible study or church group at his house that night and I guess once a week they do a confession night where one person confesses a big secret and the guy whose house I was at who I really just met told the group his deepest darkest secret and I always felt like I shouldn’t have heard it. Shit opsec I guess.
Shawn. There’s really nothing new just new to us. Look at Judas and what he did for 30 pieces of silver. BUT, look at what the Father did with that. That was part of the chain of events that had to happen to save you and I. Remember, forgiveness is for YOU so you can move on and enjoy what God has given you without this person living rent free in your head.
