It’s crazy!! They call it reunification here in the state of Washington. Just give babies back to drug addict parents who use the baby to get some sort of housing. I had to take care of a great nephew who now has physical and neurological issues for a couple of months after the parents almost killed this preemie baby twice from direct exposure to meth. They had their record completely expunged without any drug testing or a legit place to live and dcyf is so proud of theirselves. Now my niece is not taking baby to his necessary dr appts and making up lies which is her specialty. Sick and twisted policies here
Half of the kids should never be taken away they. Shouldn’t depend on a fresh college grad that has know idea what it’s like to be a parent and are easily manipulated by narcissistic parent and they believe everything they say while the good parent is screwed they have no street smart or ever been in a bad home themself

Social service people for the most part are terrible ! There are troublemakers that work for such organizations such as Catholic Charities which is terrible. So it’s NOT only the children, but the independent disabled adults and senior citizens at risk who fall under the demise of C.C.
My wife’s sister has nine kids well has given birth to nine and all of them but two have ended up in a situation like this. We never even got a chance to save any of them they call us notify us and then they just poof disappear and we can’t get ahold of anyone or do anything the state just makes them vanish. It’s insane.
Also the foster system is completely corrupt. Most of the people fostering kids are the worst kinds of people just doing it for the money and they don’t give a damn about the kids and shouldn’t be able to have kids at all but they look good on paper so they give the kids to em. The majority of kids raised in foster care become fucked up individuals maybe we should look at that system and make it better. I think churches should operate orphanages again.
Do not communicate with CPS they are not officers of the law. You can tell them no!

BACK IN 2003 THAT’S WHAT THEY DID WITH MY BROTHER & SISTER WHEN THEIR DAD HAD TO DO A YEAR IN JAIL. I WAS 21, PREGNANT WITH MY 1ST CHILD & THEY WERE 13 & 14. THEY GAVE ME CUSTODY & CLOSED THEIR CASE. SO THERE I WAS WORKING 2 JOBS/ 7 DAYS A WEEK TO SUPPORT THEM. INSTEAD OF HER SETTING UP KIDSHIP CARE WHICH IS FOSTER CARE WITH FAMILY THAT GIVES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WITH EACH CHILD. THEIR DAD WHO RIASED THEM SINCE THEY WERE 2 & 3 NEVER GOT THEM BACK WHEN HE GOT OUT.

They figured out that CPS can take your child and sell that child and make money off that child once a child is an adult they throw them to the streets and don’t give a f*** about them so yes modern day slavery is done by CPS

I have no doubt. They cover up child care as well.
If the children have been placed into another family member’s home I don’t understand why we need to continue with any involvement from the government.
Some of that is true and some of it isn’t. I’ve worked with CPS for a long time and yes children get placed with family that love and care for them as opposed to being with strangers. That does NOT mean that no one is checking up on them. Child advocacy centers (CAC’s) continue to follow up with the children and connecting the family to additional resources. These placements are meant to be temporary until the biological parent can get more secure in their treatment, home, etc
God I pray for these children every day, EVERY child deserves to be loved! Makes me so sick and angry

This is scary as HE double L. The children of this world are ours to protect and defend. To keep safe from harm and to direct on to a productive and self sufficient life path. We need to stand up to those individuals and systems that threaten the safety and welfare of those in our care. To ignore this, is the height of apathy, and heralds the not to distant death toll for humanity as a species.
I was part of the hidden foster kids where I remained a ward of state from 5-18. The relatives that I was rehomed to was just as bad as the original drug house I was in. Nothing was done

If somebody works in victim services in another country. There’s one thing uniquely American. Americans vote in politicians. Then those politicians want to cut taxes but really they’re not cutting taxes for the average voter. They’re cutting taxes for the top 10%. And they cut these taxes by cutting funding to programs like social services. And then because they get convinced by groups like moms for Liberty. To think that child welfare should be focused on parental rights instead of child rights. Which is going to be cheaper to do. Because if you only concern about parents rights, you don’t really have to worry about the kids and it’s not going to cost a lot of money to run your program. And Crock-Pot theory of reunification. So these politicians that the American people voted in rip away the legislative power from these organizations in order to keep children first and stop centering children and child welfare and start centering their parents. And then because they want to give more money to the billionaire and millionaire class. They draw government contracts. Where Where private equity will run child welfare. And instead of worrying about child welfare, you know that’s already been taken away in favor of parental rights. They now center profit over people. So they’re not even focused on the parents anymore. All the while this is supposed to be a a cost-cutting measure for the state but really it’s costing almost double what it would cost if the state just ran itself and focused on children like they was set up to do in the first place.
So Americans keep electing these politicians who keep listening to these special interest group who keep listening to the billionaires and keep making sure the billionaires don’t have to pay a lot of taxes. In this vicious cycle. And then when you discover that there’s nightmares going on in these broken systems you want to stand at this bridge that’s been destroyed by a nuclear bomb and point at that bridge and say look. The system never worked in the first place. It doesn’t work because you broke it.
No other developed country in the world does that. We understand if you want these systems to work, you have to fund them and you have to listen to good science. Not pseudoscience pushed by religious Wing nuts. And no, not all religious people or wingnuts. Just the ones that like Mom’s for Liberty And other groups like them. And then those systems aren’t so broken. And you doing the same thing with education and the environment and the housing industry and the labor unions and the labor industry. And you’ve got yourself convinced that it’s you versus left when it’s really you versus the billionaires and the politicians are in the pockets of the billionaire and you are not them. You are a token, the middle class token. And you will get spent
The resolution to this whole political crap and problem is people need to wake up and realize that they are in power the only reason there is elites is because of us we the worker bees without us there would be no elites
