I’d say most US citizens remember the lies about these events. What can we do about it? We will never vote ourselves out of this cycle.
Large controlling power structures are like a magnet attracting some of the most scrupulous characters. When they battle with each other, everyone else suffers and the most ruthless wins.
What can we legitimately do? Can we claim some of these countries as dependents on our taxes? Can we peacefully decentralize into smaller pieces? Can’t we run some simulations or something?

WW3 is going to be a lot different if it ever occurs. Most of it will be based on who has the best logistics to supply their troops, produce equipment, and send aid to allies. Majority of the lesser developed countries will be mercenaries for hire unless the US uses foreign policy against them. The reason it’s so difficult for something like this to happen is because of NATO and the US dominance of foreign policy. This is why trump really captured Maduro, it wasn’t just for the oil, that was just a bonus. The main reason was because we had too much foreign influence in South America. Any countries that try to get involved with Russia have to be very well developed, the only issue is that well developed countries don’t typically want full scale war. Europe does not want another world war and will side with NATO. Taking out Venezuelan issues with the US also took away the ability for a couple of countries to be used as allies to Russia or China because they lost their oil supply. Cuba is the most drastic example, but other countries will be affected in less dramatic ways.
