Its called a “mnemonic device”, and its used by the best of the best in the process of “associative memory”. And this was taught to me in elementary school. I thought everyone knew it, apparently not. We need to fix our schools. 🤨😤
Why would you memorize a deck of cards?
I used that technique in physiology class a decade ago… And just got the warm fuzzies thinking about it now. Because I built it (in my mind) and spent time there and made it beautiful.
Med students use this method to memorize material too!
