This gentleman is the Poster Perfect meme emphasizing that the strongest, most formidable weapon is, and always will be, what you have in the bucket upstairs. Hollyweird paint it all as ballz and brawn, but this good man. Wow, I can only imagine the amount of trust his troop had in him leading the way.
Political roadblocks are the biggest problem. Taking out Pablo Escobar, or El Chapo, or El Mayo, or El Mencho isn’t going to cut it. They just get replaced by whoever’s next in line.
If you want to take out the cartels, you need to take out politicians, generals, hostile intelligence agencies, billionaire financiers, etc.
You need to full-on seize banks that do business with them rather than issuing slap-on-the-wrist fines. Probably would only need to do one major bank and all the rest would fall into line.
The cartel “bosses” are only upper mid level players in this scheme. They pay for protection, they’re accountable to investors, and they have to rely on highly visible, fixed institutions to handle their financial infrastructure.
If there’s only 80 parcels around that military base, you know China has at least one. Why are we letting China buy anything in America any land. Take it back then don’t even get their money our farm land as well. Give it back to people who will cultivate it

If cocaine growing/production was legalized in S America, then the only thing left to profit from would be smuggling. That would greatly reduce financial power/man count power of cartels. If cocaine growth / production was legalized, you would see a lot of farmers grow and produce too much of it, then the value of cocaine would go way down b/c of over production and that would also hurt cartels.
