These people have the money to not work and focus on these things…vast majority of people simply don’t have the time or resources to do this.
I often hear men like Shawn, Josh, and even myself say, “I’m not leaving this country. I’m staying and fighting” Shawn asks, “I don’t know, would people even fight”? I have thought about this daily for nearly a decade. It’s not if there are enough of us willing to fight. There easily is enough. The question is, “Who or what are we fighting”? We think of these in terms of actual conflict, guns, bombs, etc. The real war is our rights being stripped away slowly each day. Death by a thousand paper cuts.
And, even if it becomes an armed conflict, it will be with our own government. They will have Palantir’s newest tech, drones, robots and so on. We won’t even be able to group up. Ai will sniff out any decent and you’ll be eliminated before you can gather steam. We won’t even be fighting other people. China and Russia are zero threat. They aren’t coming.
Lastly, for context only. The question about ‘enough people to fight’. Only approx 10% of men in the U.S. fought in The War of Independence. With 10% we beat the Brits. In the Civil War, it was 9.5% of men fought. I like our odds. We just need to ID the target.

I think you can prepare for hardship without actually being in a war torn situation etc. Teaching self sufficiency, self reliance, skills, woking independently and on a team, sharing small spaces…I grew up hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, long distance sailing, history and the pursuit of Truth, treating others with respect and knowing when to trust your gut and ditch the bad apples while cherishing the good ones. No my family did not have a lot of money but my parents accomplished raising three solid citizens. By example for sure. My parents were stellar
