Neil just said that “the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence” is false. Then immediately gives an example where he had to obtain compelling evidence to assert the position of an absence. Neil is definitely wrong there. Joe just didn’t push him and let him go really easily.
He is so infectiously charismatic. I’ve watched every podcast he’s on.
My brain has been trying to keep up with it.Tyson accumulation of knowledge which hi achieved for so many years. I know it’s too far away. We shouldn’t worry about it. But we worry, because it is our DNA that will experience it in so many generations to come.

I understand what Neil is saying about the twitter. Your twitter followers are only there to control you. But since they mostly look different to you, they treat you differently, and a restrained way like spiritual shackles on your arms and legs because we know the majority of the population in America.
The size of the planet we live on is an ant compared to the size of the things in our solar system. Compare earth to the size of the universe and it’s an atom. When Joe say we can nuke the earth, if you look at that from a galactic view, you wouldn’t even see dust after the earth explodes. So when Neil said that, that is what he means.

If beings millions of years beyond us—integrating technology, AI, and consciousness—are observing us, they don’t just see across time; they perceive reality on a scale of mass and process. They consciously choose not to leave evidence, because they can see every pattern leading up to it—every biological impulse, every tech step—and they prevent it, not out of fear, but from a logical, grand-scale understanding. If we had proof, it would disrupt our natural evolution—so they stay in the unseen, ensuring we grow on our own terms. This is why we don’t have evidence—because they prevent it, so we may, in time, evolve freely, without an outside hand forcing our next step.

And the answer is often surprisingly simple: a *physicist* trying to understand how the universe and our world work at the deepest level. In the process of pursuing that knowledge, they frequently ended up saving millions of lives, or at least preventing an enormous amount of unnecessary suffering.
By the way I’m not a physicist (although nothing would make more proud haha) but rather have a great respect for those sicking ultimate truth 🙂
