Oh we are just going to ignore this washed up narcissist help instill a radical into office? Wake up, people. The orange POS’s executive orders have slapped insane restrictions on federal research grants, banning common scientific terms and anything remotely related to equality. Academia is under attack, critical research is being abandoned, and thousands of jobs across the country are on the chopping block. This isn’t just about marginalized groups—this is stopping research that benefits everyone.
Even neutral scientific terms are getting flagged just for containing “banned” words. If you write about cell division, too bad—division is banned. Studying the blood-brain barrier? Nope, barrier is banned. Working with protein inclusion bodies? Sorry, inclusion is forbidden. Need to discuss gene intersection analysis? Intersection is also a no-go.
Words like diversity, equity, inclusion, gender, LGBTQ+, racial disparities, systemic racism, climate change, sustainability, and social justice have all been axed. This isn’t some wild conspiracy—it’s actually happening.
How far does this have to go before Republicans admit this is insanity? Is it still “worth it” to prop up these authoritarian clowns while they actively destroy science and progress?

I was a substitute teacher while in college. I’d work Tuesday and Thursday. I’d also come in for 1/2 day on MWF. One of the first classes I had was 3rd Grade Math. I’m really good at math. I’d take math classes in college just because I wanted to, only 2 were needed. Anyway, let me tell you, I had no clue what I was looking at on their worksheet. One if the kids was babysat by my mother when he was younger. I asked him to explain what this one section was asking for. He showed me and I was lost.
