Its so frustrating!!!! Why dont they grill Murray on literally receiving money from the Israel lobby!!! Why dont they call him out!
Douglas is absolutely right. The ‘Mass Denialism’ was triggered in a lot of people during COVID, rightfully starting from denying the ‘everybody should get the vaccine’ narrative (which was a total crap). But then a lot of people (who don’t doublecheck whatever they pick up on the Internet) got into this rabbit hole of denying EVERYTHING (including the spherical shape of the Earth!).
A lot of ‘experts’ built a fortune by ‘simply asking questions’ and promoting horseshit they cant even debate about, it’s Ok… but giving a platform to them is not wise if one cares about humanity and the integrity of the platform.

I really like and respect Douglas Murray but this was an absolute catastrophe for him an 1:06 in and he has said nothing. I can’t take anymore.
If weak men like Dave Smith had been running America in the 1940s, Hitler might have taken over the planet, and billions could have been enslaved or killed. He believes that terrorists can be fought with empathy. He views America, Ukraine, Europe, and Israel as evil, while portraying terrorists, Iran, Russia, and the CCP as merely responding to U.S. provocation or Israeli actions. This is the type of suicidal empathy you see on the far-left and part of the demoralization forced upon America and the West.

Not an expert or a professional but I think this Douglas guy might have a MASSIVE bias when it comes to Israel and wants Dave to shut up about them. Also, since the guy thought the Iraq war was a good idea, I have a bias of discounting everything he says by 95%.
I agree with Murray on this in a general sense. Iâve definitely seen smaller groups of people warming up to the âhitler wasnât so badâ mindset. And I think it is a case of âthey lied about this so everything is suspectâ. I call it toxic skepticism.

Quick note, not so quick really: we know exactly what we’re talking about, we know exactly what Israel did, we know exactly how they stole most of the land they’re in, we know exactly what they’re trying to do by starting wars all around them to conquer what they call Greater Israel, as if the borders of an over 2000 years old map has any value, or as if all the countries around Israel weren’t real countries.

Churchill was a drunk, his Son was in a lot of debt, Churchill prolonged the war for this reason. he didnât face evil, he wasnât out there fighting, he didnât even make his own speeches. Murray is clearly a very good debater. However, he places far too much effort in attempting to win a debate than he does engaging the audience. Strong arm tactics, dismissing what Dave says over and again with little qualification. He does his position a disservice and alienates the audience he’s attempting to court as a result. Very unfortunate. His side of the argument deserves a better represenative. Murray needs a hall of mirrors to stand in front of.

This is a patient example of a Douglas Murray masterclass. Dave’s great (and formidable) but isn’t on the same level as Douglas.
