For years, I never even realized Doyle was played by Dwight Yoakam. That character was designed to be hated, but the performance is what makes the movie so rewatchable for me. Especially when he kicks everyone out of the house. I feel like he deserved an Oscar nomination.

The interesting thing about success is that when you have it you have it easier. Much easier, if our elders can’t help out the youngsters then we’re fucked.
