I have the funniest story for how I was introduced to Jackass. My mom was a pretty conservative, buttoned up, straight-laced kind of person… she had some eccentric taste in art and music.. very good taste, but not necessarily in line with her personality otherwise.., other than that she was really quite prudish.. not at all the Jackass target audience. Well, I was on the phone with her one day, we were having a normal conversation, then suddenly she started laughing hysterically. She was laughing so hard she could hardly tell me why.. she finely got it out to turn my TV to which ever channel jackass was on at the time… it was the one where they were tazing their nuts.. which was pretty amusing in and of itself, but I was mostly hysterical over the fact that my rather prudish mother was getting such a kick out of it.. I laughed so hard I cried and I’ve been hooked to Jackass ever since.
