I once turned a juggle joke into a running bit. I told the joke seven times that week and screwed up one of the three parts multiple times. Next weekend, I had the joke cold but purposely messed up all three parts. Backtracking each time killed harder than the time before, in a Gilbert Godfrey or Joe Pechi flavour.

I’ve been a fan of Louie for many many yrs. He’s my fav right behind Carlin. He’s intelligent, honest, charming & extremely depressed. It was his series Louie that really made me understand just how tortured some brilliant people are. I truly believe that series was Louie just showing the world who he truly is, & who he truly is, is a deeply depressed, anxious, flawed, brilliant, beautiful soul.

The reason why bobbys bit is so good is because you dont really know where its going cuz the accent kinda distracts you and you dont have time/or straight up dont want to think about the punchline (maybe you think there isnt any, that its just a making funny accent joke) and then the moment he mentions corgi you immediately know whats going on and what the punchline is, and at the same time bobby is delivering so you have this connection with bobby because you both figured out the joke at the “same time”.
