The internet isn’t really a place for a child to begin with.
This is exactly what I did with my kids! I spoke with them and made sure they knew what to do, who to tell, and that it’s not their fault.
That is what parenting is, teaching your kids to be safe, in an unsafe world.
This country is so broken. How is it that we’ve gone so far that in this society there are those who protect and empower child predators? Be alert and take action.

Just last month the high-school music teacher i had back in 2008 got arrested for being a pedophile. He had been a teacher for like 30 years, who knows how many kids he hurt. They really are everywhere
I talk to my kids about this stuff. I was a victim as a little boy. My kids will not be. If it happens, I will be serving in prison for murder, torture, and so on.

To burden children with the responsibility of being their own sentinels is 100% WRONG!!! It has been proven that most children do not respond as their parents anticipate!!!! Case in point, children playing with real guns immediately after being taught not to!!!!!
The onus of responsibility MUST BE ON THE PARENTS, AND THE LAWMAKERS, and Law enforcement, and the courts to protect children!!!

Then do not give your kids devices until they are 16 and of the age of reason where you can explain the real world to them and they follow your instructions. That is how you control what influences your children. Teach them to defend themselves and fight dirty. Create a physical contract with them that says in plain words if they get in over their heads in trouble they will come to you and not get in trouble or punished.

The best way to keep your kids safe is to keep them off the internet. There isn’t any reason for a kid to be online and or even have any kind of social media

Here’s a better idea stop buying your fucking kids phones and tablets and shit with internet access. You want your kid to have a phone cool get them a phone with no Internet just calling and texting. Tell their school to stop sending home laptops with your kids that if they have homework they can send it home how homework is always been sent home. With their school books and the assignment sheets. Because I’m sorry your not going to sit and tell me that my child needs his or her school laptop at home to do their homework. Shit happened with my ex and her kids they’d come home lie about their homework then sit on the school laptops watching shit on the internet. Even though the schools said they wouldn’t be able to do that, yet both of her kids came home talking about how one of the kids showed in each of their classes showed them how to crack them. So much so the schools actually pretty much took almost all of the nanny parental guidance stuff off especially the part that made it “impossible” for the kids to use them for anything other then school. Not to mention before all these kids getting expensive laptops from these schools their grades were awesome A’s, B’s and C’s. not even a week after they got them both of them broke them and somehow we had to pay for them, but also their grades dropped significantly. And her oldest got even worse when her grandmother went behind our backs after we said no phones and….. Got her a smart phone and told us to pretty much deal with it. So no kids don’t need internet capability phone’s what so ever like my mom has said “till you pay for it yourself you use my phone or the house phone”. and when I turned 16 I bought my own phone and payed for it granted it was a flip minute phone from Virgin Mobile but it was MY phone. And I didn’t get my first smart android phone till I was 18 and my mom got it for me in my birthday. But even when I bought my first phone I still waited a year and a half from when I had the money saved to get it. Because I at 14 and a half didn’t think I at that age needed a phone till I was at least 16 or older. But funny thing is none of my phones had phones till they were 16 either. Kids don’t need phones that’s just that kids want phones because they see us with them all the time and cause they see videos with kids they’re age with them and want them. But like I said kids don’t need phones they have plenty around them all the time. But if you want them to be safe in this day and age and you get them a phone make sure it’s a none internet capable phone and tell them and the schools their school laptops stay at school so not send them home with them.
A whole lot of grey in between that leads to those slivers of good/evil or “white and black” (western/Christian correlation mindset)… And I’d guess that mindset has something to do with why Mr Ryan here got duped so badly but the con artist in chief.
