Mother nature made sure all life has a dead man’s switch and this is what it looks like for humans.
Yeah we have a similar system that’s basically put our nuclear response on autopilot.
I highly doubt that their nukes still work. Why, you ask? Let me quickly explain:
You know that they always had, or at least claimed to have more nukes than the US. And you know that nuclear material nicely radiates and slowly but surely degrades all surrounding material, especially the nuke itself. The US have a budget for the maintenance of their nukes to replace partially degraded parts or whole weapons. This budget is bigger than the whole yearly military budget of Russia. How could they even keep their nukes partially ready and usable? And we didn’t even talk about the raging corruption within the whole Russian military complex which basically sabotaged Russias success to take over Ukraine within days or weeks with their “special military operation”.
Mikhail Gorbachev appeared in The Simpsons, he saw old George Bush and Homer fighting.
Pre-emptive implies Russia were going to do it first, which it never did. So, again with the manipulative wording whether a real story or not.
If Russia has something like that, imagine what the USA has in place…

Still waiting for this lady to say anything that hasn’t been known for decades. 95% of the stuff she says she just exaggerates and acts like she got the inside scoop from interviewing a General. The same information she gets from these Generals can easily be Googled and is just common knowledge stuff for anyone who has even a little interest in Cold War history. Generals are generally well versed in the unclassified press version of nuclear doctrine they are allowed to talk about and that’s exactly what she gets but then she acts like it’s a revelation. She’s a storyteller who exaggerates everything for effect. It’s just really tiring.
