I’ve never really liked children or enjoyed their company. I’m closer to the W. C. Field’s school of “Go Away Kid, You Bother Me.” I was always uncomfortable around them. Even as an older child, I was uncomfortable around younger children. I never babysat, or anything like that. Who knew that I’m _precisely_ who you want as a teacher, coach, camp counselor, etc.?!

I’m finding it really hard to keep my faith when all I see is people of “faith” doing and allowing awful things. Evil is prevailing and I don’t think it can or will be stopped.
What really broke my faith in humanity was not learning that these predators exist everywhere, it’s that most adults around them look the other way. When you read about cases like Jerry Sandusky, Epstein, the catholic church, and even down to family units — there’s ALWAYS adults around them that walked in on a child being rped or pictures or something and they DID NOTHING about it.
When the hunters become the hunted, we will fix this issue. I believe we are very, very close.
