Kicked a door and lost half of my toenail walking with half skin that has been protected is torment
Toe Lore
I’ve had an infected ingrown toenail removed. Dr numbed it before removing it. I’ll tell you the pain of it being removed hurt less than having the actual infected ingrown toenail. It happened when I stubbed my toe while avoiding my dog. The almost made me trip and fall. Hindsight it may it would have been better.
That hell week shits (no pun intended) all over Goggins doing his 100 mile runs
The worst story I know about. A good friend of mine’s mom died of cancer when he was 13-14. During this he got a weed possession charge. At 13, because his mom was dying and he was getting his sister fed underage working. The judge gave a deferred adjudication as a minor and told him it was completely clear from his record, and he would never ever ever have to tell anyone about it. When turned 18 he joined the Marines. Made it all the way through marine boot camp and hell week. Climbed the reaper. Was a day from graduation. They threw him out for fraudulent enlistment the day before graduation for not mentioning the weed charge he got at 13 that a judge told him didn’t exist and should never mention to anyone. It destroyed him. A hyper patriot, drowning and alone with no parents, grabbed onto the military with both hands, and was straight betrayed. He died not long afterwards in violence from increasingly reckless behavior and not being able to get any job due to the nature of his discharge. The Marines are the only branch of the military I can never respect. Cowards. They did tell him they were planning on kicking him out many weeks earlier, but just felt like letting him go all the way through it just to rug pull him at the end. Intentionally.
