An old coworker of mine was a drug rep for years before changing to that job where I met him. He told me he sold shit like this. It makes perfect sense now that I look back on it. He was a total scumbag.
I only had 3 surgical procedures at a VA. During ALL 3 procedures, I awoke in the middle of the surgeries and during one procedure, they didn’t even stop, but had nurses hold me down. NEVER AGAIN

They don’t just do it in veterans, people with noncurable diseases and pain do too all the time. If your living in constant pain or life threatening diseases a chance an experimental drug will help you is better than no chance At all. All drugs go through clinical trials how else would we know if they work correctly?
Ive been in an induced coma! Fun fact you still feel things unless they numb you up, like fent plus dilaudid plus everything else. Youre just unconscious. When they took me out of the coma I awoke screaming every time.
🇺🇸 first of all… Total awe and respect to any veteran from any branch! That you are suffering from any ailment, but particularly from active duty related injuries, is heartbreaking.

I’d never have any procedure done at a VA and I’m a veteran, listen folks you don’t have to have surgery at vas as much as they do you do! You go to a regular hospital and tell em the problem you are having, the hospital wants to make money and they genuinely like helping veterans… They will submit an a emergency surgery referral to the VA to get approved and it will be approved. Go through your local hospital don’t go to the va

A few years ago there was a batch of epidural spine injections for severe pain sent to pain clinics in the Ohio valley area that was contaminated with meningitis. I received one of them and it almost killed me. It was the most painful thing I ever had felt in my life. Every pain receptor in my body fired off all at once. If that’s what they gave veterans they need to be shot.
And there’s people out there saying we should trust our government. There the biggest most dangerous legal gang there is.
I would really like to know what happened to these men, these heroes??!! Such a horrific thing for them to have to endure!

Corporate catering for 5 years. Primary clients were pharm reps. I can vouch that the majority were like classic airline stewardesses, or real estate agents.
I used to joke that we were the “reach-around” for the med prospects that let them peddle their pills.
I ran into a lot just like them in background work, many of those were real estate agents. Small world.
