This is my pastor. I love Josh so much but Shawn something happened with you. I can’t believe it. It’s been devastating to some of your audience because we know the truth about Charlie and the fact that Candace Owens spent 5 hours with you and you gave her that kind of platform is so troubling that you don’t have any discernment over this that appears… she’s lying and grifting off of Charlie’s death Shawn. She didn’t show you one legitimate ounce of proof. This whole con thing she’s got going with such a large audience is so frightening and so upsetting. Do you think Charlie Kirk would really want this woman attacking his wife who is a widow? I mean come on demanding to know where he’s buried. You’re not coming out and supporting Erika, a widow and her children which is really really troubling to a lot of people. That’s just one thing. There’s other things where it just seems like someone got to you. People say you’re paid off. They say you’re CIA. I don’t know if I believe any of that but I know something has changed because your podcast is not the same. You are not the same. Tucker is way worse. Be very careful when you say you want to be a Christian with no authority or oversight. There’s a reason why God set it up the way he set it up. Even Peter said scription is not open for individual interpretation. Meaning there has to be somebody that interpret the scripture and it’s not your average Joe. It explains it more detail. God designed hierarchy for a reason.
Shawn, I suggest looking up Bishop Kevin Wallace. He’s one of the most powerful speakers I’ve ever heard, he’s based in Chattanooga.

This is going to be long, so I’m warning you to just ignore this if you don’t have any interest.
Saying you don’t know sh….t is the most truthful thing anyone can say about our Spiritual Journey. For a Christian, who truly believes God sent his own Son to Earth to walk among the people for over 30 years and be condemned and crucified to absolve true believers of their sins is what makes us Christians. Admitting that we don’t know. Tell me is the most important thing. A true Christian can say. I do believe that God gave us free will. Being a Christian means having faith. Faith is something you cannot see, hear, touch or feel. I believe that is why so many people have such a hard time with Christianity and other religions that believe in God. For instance, we have our own version of time based on what our brains are able to grasp. Even the most brilliant and educated scientists are still limited to the capacity of their brain. In my opinion, we don’t understand time. I was raised by an incredible Woman. She grew up during the depression. Poor does not begin to define what her and her three siblings were. They lived on a farm in Iowa and their home had dirt floors with no indoor plumbing. They had an outhouse. In Iowa during the winter it was not unusual to be well under 0 degrees Fahrenheit with winds between 20 and 30 miles an hour. They also received over 4 to 5 foot of snow during the winter. They had a chicken farm and when things were at the worst, they counted on the chickens for eggs and food just to feed them. They were bullied and made fun of at school all of the time because their clothes were old and had holes in them. Their shoes sell them fit and were taped because they had holes in them. The closest town which was very small was Tama, IA. They had a small place like Goodwill where they would get some clothing. Their father did our jobs away from the farm, but spent his money on alcohol. Her Mother through their entire childhood made sure they studied the Bible and focused on the hardships that so many people went through as outlined in various books and verses. My Mother was beautiful and extremely gifted as a singer. When she graduated from High School she went to Cedar Rapids, IA. and became a model. That opened the door for her in Chicago where she modeled and became a backup singer for numerous artists. For the first time in her life, she was making money because she turned 18 in 1946 during the post war boom when everything was going crazy including the entertainment world. The problem was her family didn’t have any success and things were just getting worse with her father. She came back to the Cedar at this area when she was 19 to help her family farm financially. She met my father. He was just out of the Navy and his father was a VP of a Bank in Cedar Rapids. Going back and doing the math it was actually a shotgun wedding. She was just short of her 20th birthday when they got married. My oldest sister was born seven months later. It was a full term pregnancy. That is an entirely different book but suffice it to say I was number five of six children, and he was a raging alcoholic with who was Ex extremely violent. My older siblings were fortunate because he was always a drinker, but he got really bad when my younger brother and I were nine and seven. We were the go to church family every Sunday. When the doors closed in our house, it was bad. Throughout everything my Mother taught me from my earliest memories versus from the Bible about never judging anyone based on their race, how they looked, if they appeared different than us. Looking back, I think that she and her siblings had been constantly judged and bullied because of the way they dressed that she would not tolerate one of her kids, judging like that. So she told me if I saw someone who didn’t have the same color of skin that I did, someone who might be in a wheelchair, someone who didn’t look like me like a person with down syndrome or some other genetic condition that caused them to not look like what we might consider normal. She made it very clear that normal is just a word. She told me many times that everyone is a Child of God and it says clearly in the Bible do not judge or you will be judged. She said there is only one Judge. Leave that to God and mind your own business. That was hammered into my brain. Along with love thy neighbor. Not just my physical, close neighbors, but everyone. She always told me to be nice to everyone. She said you could come into contact with someone who is having the worst day of their life. They may have just lost someone close. Maybe they found out they were very sick. You have the ability to get the door for them, smile, say hi. Be polite, make your interactions with someone positive. One example she gave me was if I was at a store going through a checkout line. The person waiting on me could be having a horrible day. She said just be really nice. Say hi how are you? Maybe the person wants to talk and maybe they don’t. At the very least you have been pleasant and you can say thank you and have a great day. That costs me absolutely nothing. I can’t speak for everyone because that’s how I was raised, but it seems so easy to do that. I don’t care if it’s a man or a woman I still open the door for people. I can’t help myself. It’s just what I do. I always say please and thank you. I am definitely not better than anyone else. Just like the Bible says as hard as I try, I’m going to sin. Because I’m human and humans sin. I may not outwardly judge anyone, but I certainly catch myself inwardly judging people, and that is a sin. When I hear a person who calls themselves a Christian, turn right around and say that anyone who is gay is going to hell, I think to myself I’m not sure that is your call. I’m not gay, but I am clearly told in the Bible to not judge other people. So if no one is getting hurt, children are safe and I will take a bullet for my children and grandchildren. Anyone in my family and maybe anyone. I don’t know because I haven’t been in that situation. I certainly believe in the right to protect myself and my family. I am not a person that thinks God is going to reach down and put a magical wand between me and a bullet. Tools are provided on earth for that and I own those tools. Does that make me a hypocrite? I don’t think so. There are plenty of places in the Bible that says God helps people who help themselves. I’ve never believed that praying and then sitting back and waiting for something to happen is going to work. I’ll be the first to admit. I had an extremely difficult childhood and I have lasting issues that I have been able to overcome. I’ve raised three children and never raised a hand to any of them. I have never verbally abused any of them. I promise myself when I was pretty young that I would never make a child feel the way I felt. My two oldest are doing great. My son is 40. He is extremely intelligent. He played four years of college basketball with a full ride scholarship. He is married with two children and has a great managerial job with a fortune 50 company. My 38 year old Daughter is also doing extremely well. She has a bachelors degree from the University of Illinois. She is married great guy who I actually coached in Little League. They have a three year-old Daughter with another Daughter on the way. I also have a 17 year-old daughter from my second marriage who is an absolute miracle. Another book but she is a two time medical miracle. She is a beautiful intelligent athlete who will graduate from High School in May with so many honors classes that with an agreement the High School has with our local Junior College. Regardless of where she goes to college she will be a second semester freshman. Our cost for that first semester is $600.00. She has been running varsity tracks since her freshman year. She runs the 100m and 200m. She already has offers from D2 schools but if she can improve her time in the 100m by .25 seconds her Senior year it is definitely possible she could get D1 Mid Major offers. We’ll just see how that all plays out. All three of my children were raised as Christians. As a parent, you do everything you can and once they graduate from high school and in our case, go away to school, you just have to hope and have faith that your children will make good decisions. 🙏
