Also you can spell the person’s name on their forehead and that’s supposed to help. I always relate someone’s name to something else that is common to me sometimes even a friend’s name or an item that I’m familiar with.
Bullshit, nonsense. 3 synapses of the persons name is all that’s needed to remember it. Example, “Hi, what’s your name? Breckie (1). Did you say Breckie (2)? Yes. Hi Breckie (3), nice to meet you.
Used it my entire law enforcement career!

Yes… I used this technique to help my sons memorize stuff in school. The more ridiculous it is, the better it works.
Learned this 20 years ago. Just associate the person with something and the name.And you’ll be surprised you will memorize everybody’s name.It’s easy , takes about three minutes of practice

I just obsess over things I want to remember so I can always remember myself learning and researching it to in turn remember the actual item, place, or person. Same concept just not this uniform I like this
I name everything, from people to things to places. It’s markers, I know where I am and what I’m doing there and why. I should apologise to everyone I’ve given a name too…… Like pickle face, or the hillbillies, or Dollar Donkey. I’m sorry but glad you don’t know 😂❤
