I’m not worry about current label of “AI” If we still can’t figure out how our consciousness work, AI can only be what we know now. Humans have a critical disadvantage. That is their perspective or vantage point. We evaluate the world from experience and we only do so in very short time frames. We live in an extraordinary interdependent and complex system but our brains are only designed to make immediate threat assessment and survival decisions without understanding the complexity underlying. Trying to predict a future with an unprecedented entity being mixed into a hyper complex system is impossible. You can only come to very general outcomes- Worst case scenario all the way up to Buss K scenario something somewhere in between will happen.
