COD stopped being fun and original after BO2 in my opinion. Everything released after that was just slop. I grew up on console so BF3,4,5 and MW2&3 and BO1&2 and Halo were the prime time of gaming for FPS. Siege was great for the first 2 years then it fell into the trap of only being able to play certain metas and trying to stay relevant.
The problem with these newer FPS games is the barrier to entry is ridiculous high for a casual and new player making them unplayable unless you’re sinking tons on hours into them
My favorite one was actually the WW2 version.

Thats how it goes with some 1st shooters, you die a million time trying to get better and figure it out, I only use shotguns and treyarch nerfed tf outta all the shottees , I still use it and die million times anyway, the new battlefield is way better
Cod used to be good but yeah this new one Blops 7 in particular is just so fast and a little ridiculous with the movement in multiplayer it’s crazy. The zombies mode is fun as shit tho
And now we’re at call of duty Black ops 6 and 7 and 👎
My favourite was bo3 and infinite warfare
And cod ghosts
Battlefield is way more accurate

I kinda think it’s pointless if you’ve got a full time job. You come home, you’re exhausted, you sit down half out of it and you’ve got some 13 year old kid trolling the whole chat group just annihilating everyone because they’ve got razor sharp reactions, muscle memory and fuck all to do outside of school.
