I found Christ in 4th grade. That was how I was raised. We were poor, but my folks loved us and we got taught about Christ, went to Church regularly, AND my parents talked to us all, a lot, about everything. We were not sheltered or hovered over, but raised with boundaries, chores, expectations, and respect. I am suspecting these kids are sent away because the parents are not being parents, not in a healthy way. When there is an absence of the Lord, problems will find you.
Certainly was.
I was a victim of this same thing. Kidnapped at 4:25 am by two ex navy seals, now private contract kidnappers. Woke up in the wilderness in Utah, spent 97 days there, then was sent to a psychological “boarding school” where we all underwent nothing short of experimentation in my opinion. Thanks for this, @ShawnRyanShow. The world needs to know.

If parents were allowed to discipline their kids without government interference these kids may have ended up a little different. I’m not talking about abusive discipline but maybe real grounding and maybe a little whip of the belt in needed circumstances.
Landmark Education does the opposite… they tell you, you have control over your integrity which in return gives you an incentive to be the creator of other people’s integrity… Bunch of kool-aid bullshit.

By definition of a cult many religions are cults. I always thought Christian Science (emphasizing the Science part not the Christian part) was a cult. My grandmother followed this religion. They heavily brainwashed her into their odd way of practicing Christianity. She became really extreme in this cult and even amongst Cs’ers she was extreme. This actually became a huge hardship on the family through her life with how to care for her while respecting her religious practices at the same time. Don’t even get me going on medical. After she dove into that religion, we lost her to that. She put a sour taste in our mouth to following religion all together. We can still follow Jesus because it’s different. Religion such as churches we can’t do that she put such a sour taste in our mouths we tend to avoid churches but do practice Christianity on our own in neighborhood group at home circles.

i have a question for parents, who just giving their kids to who knows what organisation, without checking on them, what is wrong with you? And what was so bad about your kids, that you decided to send them into some reeducation camps? Usually you dont need anything drastic, almost everything is fixable at home with good parenting.

I remember this happened to one of my homies back when we were teenagers. He had dropped out and was getting in a lot of trouble. When I heard he got scooped up in the night and taken to some place in Nebraska i didn’t believe it. But this sounds like exactly his experience.

It happened to me at 12 until i was 15. (And my older sister) I was put into a drug rehab I never did drugs) named Straight Inc. Owned by Mel and Betty Sembler. HUGE donors for the republican party. Mel was the US Ambassador to Italy. Nancy Regan brought Princess Diana there to show how the US was fighting “the war on drugs”
Evan Wright (Generation Kill author) was in a TTI as well trying to shed light on the government’s role in the industry. The day after Teen Torture Inc was released he committed suicide.
I had the hardest time finding help 5 years ago when i “remembered ” and flabbergasted to learn its still happening to children.
