Love is a choice! It’s not waking up happy and being happy every minute of the day. It’s looking at your partner and recognizing that you’d die for em regardless of how imperfect they are .
The best way to overcome lust is to eat healthy, run a mile a day, and find a purpose and pursue that with all of your time. The more you practice this, the less time you have to lust, then your body will eventually naturally chase purpose over women/men.
Sacrifice your lust like Christ sacrificed his flesh for you.
Where in the bible does it talk about “soul ties”, sounds interesting

Always thought it was interesting that the Bible says “Resist the devil and he will flee from you,” but then it tells you to flee from sexual sin. Apparently, you can stand up against the devil, but you’d better run from lust.

I slightly disagree…
Yes, we must flee from sexual sin when someone is trying to enable us physically.. i.e. Potifer’s wife in Genesis (adultery). But when it comes to modern day lust, where we battle sexual thoughts in the mind, urges to watch pornography, seeing people dressed inappropriately in public… we must engage in this battle and fight.. we start in the mind and take captive those lustful thoughts right away that will lead us into sexual sin, look away after we see someone dressed inappropriately so we don’t sexualize/ objectify them, and yes cut off what causes you to sin (this is personal, it could be social media for example).
But it is a fight indeed, and we must engage EVERYDAY.. deny ourselves (and our passions), pick up our cross (which could have lust “nailed” on it) and follow Christ everyday!
