One thing I would recommend is a High powered break barrel pellet gun. Super quiet cheap ammo and you can stockpile 1000’s of rounds in a tiny space.

There is exp dates on most seeds unless you buy heirloom but most seeds bought in box stores are GMO. You can buy acre seed banks in a #5 tin can that are not GMO and can use you seeds from the crop to plant next years and so on

Careful with using dehumidifiers for potable water, the water it pulls can contain molds and heavy metals. It would definitely need to be purified with a really good filter.

The number one firearm everyone should have is a .22 rifle. Ammo is cheap, so stock up. Then you can hunt small game for food and if you’re good enough with the rifle you can kill a deer. People do it, it’s not impossible.

Do not waste your money on store bought seeds. Your lucky if a small portion will germinate the same season you purchase them. Get your seeds from Patriot Seeds. They will last over 5 years and are heirloom seeds meaning you can harvest the vegetable and the seeds from them can be used the following season. Most store bought seeds are not heirloom.

$ 500,000 for land? WTF, $ 50,000 for a well, thats some really dumb shit right there, but if you got money to waste, get ter done! Where you buy, and what you buy affects lots of things, cost, is moving water on it already, how deep to get water, land perks, type of soil, rocky, hilly, flat, swampy? You dont need a ton of acres, more for more people, like a compound, but your gonna pay more tax, are there any restrictions on said land! There are so many things people dont know, and that can screw your whole thing up! A half acre can produce enough food for 6 people, but not enough for chickens,goats, cows, and pigs, and thats not a one person job! Water, and shelter are first, heat with redundancy, power, with redundancy, and arms for security and hunting! Best guns, pellet, 22lr, 9mm, 12g, 308 or 556, I prefer 308, its does everthing 556 can, and cant do, why stock both, pellet and 22lr are cheap and good for small game, 12g is good for birds, duck,turky, and large game and self defense, 308, any large game and a great long distance sniper! I own all of this already, + + +, and retired with no debt! Farming and growing food, indoor is much better, but most do it outside, but comes many problems, animals, rats, birds, insects, thiefs,neighbors, and whatever is falling from the sky! So you best be growing 5 times what you need! In door is controlled, and much more secure! If you can fish and hunt on your own property, thats a lot in itself! Security is a must, or you will lose everything you got, including your life!

As a person who has killed up to 40 pound animals, with a pellet gun YES get a GOOD ONE. NOTHING LESS (and recommended 22cal). You would be surprised what you can hunt with a really good “Adult” pellet gun. Well worth the money, but they ARE NOT CHEAP.
And the higher humidity the more water it will extract.
I’ve been prepping for a while. You don’t need a cabin in the woods to survive.

Personally, I feel 5-10 thousand rounds PER GUN (depending on what caliber it is, say up to 308) for a survival retreat would get you in pretty good shape. But remember two of the same gun is only one (survival situation remember, meaning NO RESUPPLY).
