Because people are looking to organized religion and gurus like this charlatan for answers instead of living a spiritually motivated, mindful life. Look at “Christianity” and how it has become nothing but a doctrine of rules and regulations devoid of actual spiritual depth. How many people sit on a church pew, believe “the right” things, follow all of the rules, and never have even a moment of transcendence, of spiritual experience. I have literally been told by my 80+ year old grandmother-in-law that she’s never had a spiritual experience in her life. She appears to be the perfect Christian. She donates, attends every church service and event, is active in the church, even worked for the church private school for decades. Yet, she is empty of spirituality. She “has faith”, but that faith is dead and meaningless because it has provided her nothing but a social club. Most of you “Christians” reading and having a knee jerk reaction right now are exactly the same, but it’s not just Christianity. Look at how yoga and Buddhism have become hollow status symbols for hipsters and suburbanite drones. Look how even paganism has been turned into a pop culture trend with no genuine spiritual nature.
The title of your religion and the doctrines of it are meaningless if it provides you with no spiritual exiperience, no divine connection, no direct contact with something greater than material being.
I feel kinda ok being lonely i have a problem with people lying to me and saying they care i rather be left alone

Well what is the opposite of loneliness. When you get frustrated around people. You want to connect but they exhaust you. As soon as I’m alone I feel fine.
