Ep name???
He should do catalyst removal job confined space in a reactor w a space helmet on w supplied air inside the reactor is pumped with nitrogen because if there was oxygen in there and it made a spark the person inside would decinegrate! my job! 🤣
Retired commercial diver. Confined spaces and pipe penetration barely wider than your shoulders was always a fun time.
Pretty sure loggers is actually more deadly than Bering Sea crab man
Wow, when I first watched the opal mining I thought it sounded cool! 😮
This made me feel weird just on my phone.. I couldnt do the confined space stuff…that and heights scare me to death. 😳👎🏽
I would say a person who bags your groceries and helps you to the car with all asian woman drivers in the parking lot.
I remember he came to my Dirty job a few years ago!!! It was the coolest shit ever, wish i was aired on the episode.
The Episode: Durand Glass Manufacturing, Millville NJ.
I dont know why, but being lowered in a long whole doesn’t scare me as much as getting stuck in a tunnel….
P.s, your mom wasn’t the tunnel I got stuck in…… she was the one I was lowered in. O.s.h.a was there and everything, said I was brave, because no one has done that in 20+years, safely..
Sea rescue during a storm
The Deadliest Job in the US is President, just ask the Current One.😮
I sympathize with the opal mining. I’m a geotechnical engineer, and I rode the muck bucket down to the bottom of many drilled shafts 60 feet deep and 30″ in diameter. There’s no running if there’s a problem.
Elevator constructer
We dug opal by hand. Some mining areas are non machinery. Try that for a lark.
I cleaned heating oil tanks for 10 years by hand. Commercial and residential. Some of the tanks are rough. Confined space work is brutal. The short guy always has to be the work horse.
Confined spaces 100%. There’s so many things that can go wrong and you need to be aware of.
3 generations of commercial fishermen in our family from the 1940s thru the 90s… The Bearing Streight is no joke…
Most dangerous job in the world is a Holistic doctor. Yeah, they always end up suiciding themselves in back of the head twice. Big pharma kills em 💯 LOOK in to it!
Route clearance patrol
I worked at a Sheetrock plant at one point and I’m a fella of smaller stature… I was the confined space guy went in every confined space they had didn’t my first bit of welding there because I was the only one that could get in the spot and still maneuver somewhat
I used to do shipbuilding for the navy. I’m pretty short so used to get the crap jobs of crawling through fuel tanks were I had to take all my clothes off and boots just to scrape through bulk heads. Realised pretty quickly if there was a fire there was no way I was getting out but I’d rather do that job than work with the elderly dealing with human poo and dementia patients that stuff freaks me out.
Legit horrifying jobs
I could easily look for opals and i hate tight spaces.
King crab fishing seems way worse
USA president
Astronaut?
Hazardous material hauler. Watching your life pass before your eyes every time another moron slams on his brakes after cutting you off.
Water, sewer, and storm main its dirty and confined but it aint a bad time
and women do none of those jobs😂
Infantry or gtfo
I dont know man.. ive done catalysts changouts and repairs inside 200ft tall petrochemical reactors in life support equipment in a 98% nitrogen atmosphere. The catalyst chemicals rapidly react to oxygen.
Theres plenty of crazy jobs all around the planet
Military
Marine Corps EOD……
The flight deck of an aircraft carrier during flight ops .
the danger of confined spaces is no joke, apart from oxygen displacement and other things. people getting claustrophobic and having panic attacks is another issue. you have to file paperwork for each job and must be completed and signed by the people that work it every day when working in confined spaces. I’ve only done it once when cleaning out an industrial AC unit but I can only imagine being 60ft deep in a 4 or 5ft wide hole, yikes…
My brother died in a tight space working with chemicals at a defense contractors it makes me cry knowing how much he probably suffered 😢 rip ty i love you man i think about you everyday
And maga thinks it’s police officers 🤡
Driving a Big Rig in a 100% Whiteout conditions in a Blizzard on a narrow 2 lane highway on the backroads of South Dakota.
I didn’t see any strong independent woman doing this jobs 😅
Alright SRS, I’ll watch this one ASAP ❤🙏🏼💙
Mike rowe did a special at this companyni use to work for doing crawl space water proofing and foundation repair, i guess that ties into the “whole confined space world”, i remember him saying it was one of the hardest he had ever done
life having trump as a preaident ..thats the hardest job that any of us all of us have to worrie about and deal with ……..😊
Paper boy round south London definitely the most dangerous
That buoy is cute. Look up penetration diving.
Oh wow. Had no clue about the opals. A very kind man from our rock hound group send some he collected in Australia. He does it for a living. We just had no idea it was crazy to get them. We thought it was like digging for crystals.
That’s the kind of shit robots and AI should be used for.
We don’t need them to create anything, creating is the one thing we’re more than capable of.
We need assistance for our physical weakness. We need machinery to do so much because our mental ideas outpaced our physical capabilities.
The issue is, there is absolutely nothing in place to ensure the worker can continue to sustain themselves once their ultra-risk job is no longer theirs.
Go find another ultra risk job that hasn’t been replaced yet? It will eventually.
And if you’ve done something for, say 30 years, the average persons skill set usually stays around that general theme after a while.
Anything deep water diving is up there. Any slight malfunction in your gear and your lungs explode.
Coopers petey
I’m a lineman and used to be a logger. But going into tight spaces, hell no.
Fire watch here , and let me tell you, we are a dying breed.. lmgao 😂
Jobs which require you to stand near traffic are very deadly
