Sean Strickland Explains Why He Held a Man at Gunpoint Outside His Home
What would you do if a stranger appeared outside your home in the middle of the night?
In this Hot Question, Sean Strickland explains what happened after his Ring camera captured a man hiding beside his truck. Believing the stranger may have been trying to steal from him, Strickland grabbed a pistol and confronted him outside. He soon learned the man had allegedly assaulted his sister, crashed his vehicle, and fled the scene – only for police to tell Strickland they were too busy to make an immediate arrest.
Strickland also opens up about his lifelong hatred of alcohol, the damage drinking caused inside his childhood home, and his conversation with Dustin Poirier after Poirier’s highly publicized incident on a flight. He questions whether alcohol companies should abandon sponsored athletes during their lowest moments – or take responsibility and offer them help.

I agree alcohol can really mess ya up…I don’t think it’s that way for everyone…and I don’t think a drink here or there is bad…but some people, like me, we can’t have a drop, or we lose control…so that’s why I don’t drink and haven’t in 2 years. But I do still think about it from time to time

In court if you have a chance to avoid a violent situation and do not the prosecution atty and co will rip you apart and you will not leave that court room without paying a heavy price. They love to chew up people like that. Leave and you will be a richer free person. Acting tuff in certain situations will get you sued and in prison. Thats a fact with lots of examples.
Who gives a shit if you drink bud light. Bud light doesn’t have anything to do with you or what you believe in, or do. I drink busch light and don’t beat kids or support trannys. If YOU have a problem with bud light or any other alcohol, then YOU shouldn’t drink it. Don’t tell other people they have a problem with it just because you do. Maybe try drinking responsibly.

Sean Strickland sounds like he thinks everyone is out to get him. Quick to pull a gun on people. He’s going to wind up dead or in prison.
I’m wired like Strickland and it gets me in so much trouble. I can’t walk away. I just I can’t. It doesn’t even cross my mind. It’s nothing to glorify because I’m just a civilian. It’s a danger tbh.
Even Jesus drank wine. If you can enjoy it without abusing it, there’s noting wrong with enjoying a glass or two. Problem is many have no self control.

Alcohol really was the invention that made mankind survive because water was never pure and bacteria was killing evryone before municipal water treatment

I never drank. Never did drugs. Never experimented. Never understood the point of it. The very first taste of alcohol was nasty. Every single person said “it’s an acquired taste.” Not once did I encounter where a friend, family member or stranger were doing better in life because they were drinking.
I had the same experience with the alcoholic father every night as a kid.
It’s pure hell for a lot of us.
