Its a piston gun. Adjust your gas. You should know this stuff
SD is the key info here.
Someone needs to make a graduated adjustable gas block for this gun. If its jamming on the suppressed setting a little more adjustment is required or look at reloading the subsonic rounds.
Here’s a thought…. Stop shooting the steel when judging the suppression 🤦🏼♂️

You could dial it up
You need to try tuning the supressor or you need a lighter weight bolt carrier group.
If it’s integrally suppressed you shouldn’t need to shoot subs, it’s gassed for supers and they will be just as quiet
How are you supposed to kill anyone when only half go off?
I think for this rifle it has gas ports to bleed out gas to turn supersonic rounds into subs. So by using subs you have an undergassed rifle

Should be a huge difference in sound from subs to supers. I have a POF Renegade Plus pistol in 300blk with a Dead Air Sandman S. When people shoot subs out of it for the first time they smile and laugh. It’s a great platform!
Why don’t you use normal common ammunition rather than what you chose
300 blackout for example

Subsonic is not going to change the sound from the firers perspective. It’s going to change the sound down range. Can they hear the rounds wizzing by, or does someone just drop without hearing the crack / whizz.
Yes, the weapon needs to be designed to work with subsonic rounds. Not all are 👍🏼
I get it operator’s know the sound it makes when it kills a man, but dont understand gas pressures for proper cycling 😂 seriously tho if you go supressed then it should be set up for that load, everyone want the best of both it doesnt work like that.

I haven’t tried these 190s for subs. I always go for muzzle energy and shoot 220gr subs. Maybe that extra weight makes my AR feed well with both 220 subs and 150 supers. I am dialed in perfectly and would hate to mess with my gassing or buffer.
I’ve noticed in that case get a bigger can or 240gr hand hoads
Or……. Don’t use crap hornady subx. Unless you’re using a bolt action. Terrible in a semi auto

I have two “less than tier one” 300blk guns. One is a pistol length one a carbine length. NEVER had a subsonic round malfunction. PLUS I run them suppressed constantly. They are PSA GUNS. 400 and 600 dollars respectfully.
Subspnic is slightly quieter but not enough to make a difference
Most people out there aren’t experts… even the military ops guys. Hell, I trained with military guys for 2 years and barely even used a handgun. Just rifles for the most part. I’m totally ignorant of what I haven’t used… which is most of them. Ammo too. And, I don’t need to know. So many different kinds of everything out there. Just find what works for you. Sometimes I think the weapon just doesn’t like you, because another guy will pick up your ‘problem’ weapon and it works fine for them. As soon as I take it back, it jams. Wtf…idk why. Bad karma? Bad something. It’s freakin’ weird. The M16 for one. I refuse to pick one up.

Subsonic rounds in a normal AR platform with an 8 inch barrel, and an adjustable gas block functions subsonic perfectly and is substantially quieter. I don’t have any time behind the B&T.
Is the gas system not adjustable for when you’re running just sub-sonic rounds??

Suppressor plus subsonic is lowering gas blowback and will slow down the bolt if I’m not mistaken. Correct me if I’m wrong boys.

Also, you are going to get the sound difference from the round traveling down range. With supers you will get that loud crack when it goes supersonic. Obviously the subs won’t.

Same experience bro. If you really want to go subsonic suppressed go 45acp pcc/sbr. Plenty of tier one loads that are subsonic. 220+p critical duty, 200+p gold dots, both excellent. You’re not taking a buffalo at 200 with it, but at inside the house ranges you’re good.
Sound changes when it hits
My rattler eats subs no problem.
