As a freemason i can tell you that our purpose is to promote virtue and to destroy evil amd bad habbits. What that freemason did is against mason believes and principles. I don’t want to tell more because free masonry is not a secret society but a discrete one. Only thing i can tell is that we start our meetings with John 1:1-5:

I was molested by my stepbrother when I was 6 years old. I didn’t tell my dad until my mid-twenties it was his wife’s son that did. I asked him if he was going to tell his wife what happened he said yes but he never did. Several years later I did ask him if he did say something to her he said no it would only hurt her feelings. Her son ended up dying back in 2017. During an argument I let it slip that let her son molested me. I was attacked and told that I should have kept my mouth shut. My stepmom hates my guts she always has really but she hates me even more now. She said that the only reason I said anything to her was because her son was dead and couldn’t defend himself. My dad didn’t say a word. That’s why a lot of people that are molested or sexually abused never say anything

Freemasonry isn’t inherently evil. It’s a human institution, and like every human institution it includes both decent people and bad actors. You’ll find the same thing in churches, social organizations, or governments. Blaming the whole structure instead of human behavior is an oversimplification.

My grandfather was a 32 degree mason I believe and very high up in the Shriners. I just refuse to believe he could ever be apart of satanic rituals. He lived in rural lower Tennessee until he passed late last year.

The lodges in my area require that you are a person of faith to join. Like you have to be Christian or Muslim or etc otherwise they don’t let you in. So less about becoming your own God and more about centering your faith as a pillar to your self development. (Or at least that’s what it sounds like)
