This is so true, I stayed at camp cook, taji Iraq, itās in the middle of a āfriendlyā Iraqi military base and they would launch rockets into our FOB like fishing in a barrel. We didnāt do shit about it the entire time. We even had the balloon with FLIR NV and thermal capabilities. There is no way in hell command didnāt know where and who the launches were coming from. We were told Iranian backed militias but nothing was done. It was pretty aggravating for a young soldier. The money they spent for us to just occupy space was a wake up call as to just how bad our government is with spending on our ādefenseā budget. Iām a patriot and Iām the first to say Iād love to slash our military budget and completely abandon Israel and foreign conflict in general.
