Well, apparently the therapy worked because she went to a mental institution and she’s now able to completely interact with society. It seems like right? So maybe the therapy that she’s so wholeheartedly against worked?
Ya getting rid of all the institutions and asylums did a lot to help. This country is full of sane rational people now. 😳

This happened to me at 16 years old, I spent my entire adolescence in places like these when I should’ve been in high school like every other normal kid. My parents were manipulated by ‘doctors’ and ‘treatment’ centers. They, along with big pharma, take advantage of kids with ‘problems’ for a profit. It is sick and myself and many others I know have suffered bc of it. They do not help or even treat the problem itself and many of these places are abusive. A lot of my friends from these programs have died from suicide or drug overdoses. I still struggle today trying to break the cycle of being/ feeling institutionalized. No young man or woman should have their childhood stolen from them by a doctor taking kickbacks from referral money or by the parent these ‘doctors’ have brainwashed. Healthcare in America is a joke especially psychiatric care. Our children deserve better.

If your child isn’t trying to kill you or themselves, you can probably figure stuff out with them at home.
Yeah Loki if something like that had happened to me I would have sworn revenge I would have made it damn clear to everyone there that I will get free at some point and once I do I will have my revenge and I will make it bloody and vicious none of you are safe. And then I would not say another word.
Parents can only handle so much from a teen that has complete disreguard for authority that they cant control.. you know you thought you ran the house.. little dis she know….

ITS ALL TOO EASY TONLOCK PEOPLE AWAY IN MENTAL WARDS BCZ OF THE WORDS OF YOUR PARENTS.. CHILDREN OR SPOUSE.. ITS MUCH BETTER TO CUT TIES WITH PEOPLE.. MENTAL WARDS ABUSE THE RIGHTS OF DISABLED PEOPLE.. AND PARENTS ABUSE THEIR AUTHORITY OVER THEIR CHILDREN.. THEY CONSTANTLY POINT THE FINGER AT MENTAL ILLNESS OR AT BEING EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED.. LMAO.. I’D SUE FOR SLANDER AND EMOTIONAL DISTRESS.. AND THE FORCING OF PHARMACEUTICAL MEDICINES.. just stay quiet in the ward.. take your showers.. go to your group meetings.. and you will get out on your own..

If there is blame, blame the abusive people at the intermountain place. If disassociating , a person does not recall the actual situation. I do not know those parents but SOME parents do their best for their child.

Before you judge, understand these teens have put their parent through a lot. I’ve seen it where parents have 5 kids, and 1 for whatever reason just goes insane and unmanageable. It’s a last resort because the child is beyond their parents ability to help.

I was sent to a mental hospital as a kid too. All because I said weed is gonna be legal one day. They assumed I was crazy for saying that!
This happened to me in Colorado I left from Montrose Colorado to Pueblo and they can’t believe you locked down for 6 months I was 12 years old
My mom worked at a place like that, at night. A male security officer smothered a pregnant 16 year old girl to death on one of my moms off nights. He said he was afraid she was going to harm him or someone else. My mom turned in her two week notice the next day.

She went to intermountain? I literally live 5 minutes from the biggest intermountain hospital in the country and it’s the nicest hospital you can go to. I don’t buy this chicks story whatsoever. Intermountain is also the biggest employer in my state (Utah). If they were this bad they would have went under, or at the very least not have the notoriety they do now.
If the parents feel like they have to traumatize ther child by making them thjnk they are being kidnapped…maybe they are the cause for the mental anguish in the first place 😢
