The Catholic church endorses this message. They love kids. They really really love kids.
Why is it up to the church to solve? Why isn’t this something everyone should be working towards. Just because the church preach love doesn’t mean they have to solve every problem

Churches, wake up, be doers of the word not just talkers of it
In Clark County Nevada I visited many listed churches that are boarded-up.
They are many tax shelters/scans.
350,000 Active, open Churches is optimistic.
“Fostering is the hardest thing I have ever done”. So, a family can handle helping kids, but it is too hard for the church? Before any of the, “but, but, but……” comments. I have personally witnessed churches turn down simple requests to help even the smallest of problems. All talk and no action.
As a designated teacher who works with foster children at college age – 16 to 18 and care leavers 19+ in the UK, my issue is that they don’t have a central reporting system due to the fragmented differentiation of Christian beliefs amongst the protestants. So this would literally be a minefield and it’s a hypothetical unrealistic juxtaposition of a thought experiment. Fostering is a selfish service, there may be some financial reward (in the UK anyway) associated but the holistic reality and the needs of these young people requires exceptional people.
Nope…. Absolutely fkn not, the majority of the kids in the world have been abused by religious wacko’s and the proof is overwhelming and the last place you put a broken child who’s got no family.
Here in the UK we get jailed for smacking your kids and rightly so, it just boggles my mind that we’re even having conversations like this in this day and age about kids being taken from official government institutions and put in pedophile rings, churches are just as bad behind closed doors, we’ve got elites funding orphanage’s in other countries and pretending they’re helping kids…. This world we live in is just FKN evil and having 4 girls scares the absolute shit out of me, god help anyone who touches any of my kids because I’d go full on every single one of them involved and no police would protect them

The foster parent needs to be trauma informed and know how to respond. These children have been traumatized and yes, I personally know. I was a foster child.
I haven’t watched the full episode, and the church does need to take responsibility for putting a church up and not building a community.

THERE IS SO MUCH RED TAPE TO ADOPT. THE SYSTEM IS BUILT SO THAT THOSE CHILDREN DO NOT STAND A CHANCE SO THEY ARE STUCK IN A SYSTEM THAT PAYS FOR THEM TO FAIL. PERIOD! This is one of the MAIN reasons i do not go to church. Its become a building, not a congregation communing with our creator. These numbers are disheartening.

If one MORE family in each church… you’re making it sound like the churches don’t foster. Many of the congregants foster so it’s unfair to say it the way you are saying it. You should say, if one MORE family in each church Fosters one more child the problem will be better (not solved) another 500 will need fostered tomorrow.

Yea…1: does this lady practice what. She preaches? 2: that doesnt fix all the abuse, neglect, and loss these kids suffered and will continue ti suffer. 3: the poor, orphans, and homelessness will always be among us, but have they heard of Jesus, because without Jesus all your good works are as filthy rags to God, because Jesus is the core solution to all their problems.
Truth is, its not easy to take care of children that are not your own, I know because I have two adopted children. It does take very special people to care for orphans….not discouraging adoption or fostering, just make sure you are willing to also suffer and count the cost ahead of time……now the reward is beautiful, my children are excellent, and I am very blessed with them, and I love them….after raising them to their youth I wouldn’t change anything. For if we believe in Christ we too are also adopted to the family of Christ.
If youre going to adopt or foster do it for the right reason, because you love and care for these children, and are willing to give up your life for them, because that is what it will cost.

Solve the root problem … the government needs to stay out of family structure
Many people that assist to church are broken and in look of help, many with monetary difficulties, sickness and devil attacks, also many already have 2 or 4 children, basically church is filled with sick people looking good for help. So pushing this to church and waiting for the “chuch” to help is not right.
Y would u put a child and churches in the same sentence? Unless ur not aware of how the churches deal with abuse/SA that just sounds icky, also like its an easy thing to foster? Over looking any issues the child went thru and ur heart getting broken all the hoops and them up ur butt on how u live, how do all these kids get put in crappy situations and good people have a hard time getting approved, it dosent make sense
Crazy how no one ever suggest the other religions help out, Christians must be the only ones who help with this.
As someone who had two foster kids go back home yesterday, there are more issues than referenced here.
1) many of the Christian families I know eventually adopt their foster kids and hit “capacity” in their home. So good families are often coming off the table faster than more are coming on because they chose to say “yes” to raising their foster children forever.
2) the system is a joke (experienced in 2 states now) and hard to work with causing foster families to eventually give up
3) many of the “available kids” are teenagers and are extreme challenge to bring into your family if you have kids of your own

Just so we are clear on REPUBLICAN math. 1 maybe 2 kids abused by Trans people in the last 30 to 50 years. Maybe a little higher, it is very rare. NOW look at how many kids have been abused by RELIGIOUS priests and figures. It is in the MILLIONS. How many kids (girls) are sold, YES SOLD, for the price of admission into heaven, to priest in the Morman church or other CHRISTIAN religions. Thousands every year. THEN look at the abuse that children had to endure just from being told they were going to hell for not following along with it or told GOD wouldn’t love them if they didn’t go along with it. GOP and Religious right folks, 0 laws against them. 0 laws against taking your kids to church. 0 laws against indoctrinating you child into religions that mentally and physically harm them for LIFE AGAINST THEIR WILL because they have been programmed.
This isn’t as simple as they are saying. My parents were a foster home and adopted 3 children and it was a struggle for them most days.
Also now it’s all changed my cousin is trying to become a foster parent and was denied because when asked if they would support and teach that lgbtq crap he said no.
How about we take care of our kids.
I think some of the discouragement from this is people don’t want the government looking over their shoulder. One wrong presumption and your life gets turned upside down.

There is more than one way to solve this
sad and avoidable situation.
Having worked with youngsters and adults struggling with the scarring effects of neglect, abandonment and trauma,
it does require a particular set of experienced skills to help that child
see, recognize and disassemble
the natural protective shell of anger
they needed to develop to physically survive.
If you don’t understand this process,
the most loving and caring individuals will become shattered themselves.
It is possible to help these youngsters heal and eventually learn how to reattach but it does take a great deal of conscious skills:
patience, dedication and understanding.
A farm based, horse centered, hands on, confidence building integrative learning center is critical to the youngsters’ growth as well as incessant support for all of the families involved.
A form of this model occurs here at Unbound Grace at Sentinel Farms.
There are ways to expand this instrument of healing, nationwide.
I am ready, when anyone else is.
