Hey Joe Rogan experience podcast can we see?
We need bats here in Eastern Kentucky
Interesting
Solid conversation! I just built my first bat box this week, and stumbled across the episode.
Thank you Joe for the variety of conversations you have. I’ve learned so much from your guests regardless of who they are or what they do.
The real Bat Man
Merlin Tuttle is a national treasure
Came for the Bats, stayed for the bandits and the snuff! fantastic!
It’s actually upsetting the more people don’t watch this. It’s even fun.
Awesome episode! I recommend watching it in 1.5x speed
I would say. As far as bats, this guy is a .01%er on them
So cool
This guy is Mr Awsome. How the hell have i never heard of him?? Hes a modern day Expolrer. Who almost ended up like Capt Cook. Lol

The true batman
5 minutes in and I love this human being. Such a cool dude with a cool outlook.
It is as if it never occurs to Joe Rogan that the reason why all of these miraculous coincidences exist is because the bat the plants all have the same creator
I live in south India and here we have many types of bats, and giant flying foxes the size of eagles maybe two to thee feet across.
Baby fruit bats are the cutest
Absolutely insane this only has 55k views in 2025
He has to team up with the Joker
What a total hoss
This guy is so cool. Thanks for inviting and sharing.
Rabies of dogs was also a money making propaganda scheme headed by Pasteur who loved to be scaring people falsely in the media. And no… we don’t get west Nile “virus” from mosquitos, or any other “virus”. He should know how the blame game works for mosquitos just like they do for bats. The environment that people are in who get what’s called west Nile is what gets them sick. Mosquitos are in love with stagnant gross water which is not what people should be around.
Some of those flying foxes would be absolutely terrifying to see flying towards you
Damn we need scientists like that- brave, diplomatic thoughtfull just a gigachad.
Creation, and God explains it all Darwin has always had it wrong, for 1000’s of years theology was the queen of science, then Darwin happened and the excuse to say there is no God.
Here a year after, prolly one of the best interviews ever. This man is amazing.
This (bat) man has lived an amazing life 1:26:37
Thank You Merlin and Joe! I learned a lot today!☺
This guys the coolest guy ever…Joe thanx for havibg him on & also the super cool older lady who iss a Wolf expert…2 of Ur best shows ever!!! Thanx!!!
After he hands it to Joe, “It’s not lethal anymore “ 🤣
The story about befriending and converting the Samoan bat hunters to the cause of conservation is amazing. Reminds me of Paul Rosolie doing the exact same with the Peruvian loggers. Shows you these people doing it out of malice, but out of necessity and lack of alternatives.
This dude deserves a movie
One of the best podcasts. What an amazing man
this should have so many more views!!
I enjoy the animal based guests
If it weren’t for those meddling jogwires.
Is there any evidence that interdependent systems with lots of complexity can come from any other means than from an engineer / creator?
Extremely interesting. I love when Joe does these types of shows. Also, he was the voice of Roger rabbit. Really talented guy.
Pretty cool convo!!!! 🎉❤ i love that Joe can “introduce me/ others” to topics i had no idea i would find fascinating 😅 …. going to look up Merlin Tuttle’s website and socials……. Great podcast, gents
so grateful youtube recommended this to me!!!!!!
What a guy! Hope he lives to a 100
I first came into contact with bats in cape tribulation in Australia while on a student volunteer trip back in ~2008. We did environment conservation, and one of our jobs was to work with rehabilitated bats. Been fascinated with bats ever since. Been wanting to put up a bat house for years. Now that i own my own place I may finally be able to. In the meantime ill anxiously wait for the bat fest in Gainesville, FL.
Merlin’s stories are fascinating.
