I love Daryl Davis and what he’s doing, but laughing at white replacement still rubs me the wrong way. I’d feel the same if people were laughing about American and British immigrants replacing Japanese people in Japan. There’s got to be some rational middle ground between complete open borders on one end, and ethno-nationalism on the other. Europeans founded the US, and they happened to be white. Seeing them become a minority in the country their ancestors founded seems wrong. Not exactly something to applaud. Especially when that push for ‘diversity’ only ever seems to go one way. I’d think that argument needs to be made better to avoid people being attracted to things like nazi groups.

I was “radicalized” by being the only white boy on my school bus. I was constantly afraid and isolated. I’ve changed quite a bit over the years. I’m all good now. Still have a bit of cautious prejudice. I’ll never stop growing tho.
